- We are clearing raw land to build our dream homestead and we want you to join us on this journey. Today we are working on clearing this raw land by hand, using just a few simple tools like chainsaws and tree trimmers. See the before and after of what we can achieve when we work hard on building our future homestead.
Have you purchased raw land that you are trying to figure out how to clear? We understand your struggles. We had been working with a forester to be able to sell our timber, but we did not have the years to wait to get that done. So, we are clearing this land ourselves. A little DIY land clearing.
It is hard work, but it is worth it to build our future homestead.
Join us as we get to work on the homestead!

Wow - I am impressed by your stamina!!! I am in the same predicament I am not able to get someone to clear the land for me - but I was thinking it was impossible till I saw you guys doing it. Your land is way dense than mine & you guys are doing this with ease! I am not going to complain about this starting right now...
You have got this!!! We have gotten so much cleared since this video. We just take it one tree at a time. It's hard work, but once you figure out the best way to do it for you, it will go very fast.
Good job. I'm in NC having the same issue as you. Good to know it can be done by hand
This video is almost a year old. I will be done a year in review video soon. You should see how much we have done by hand already. It's so much different now
Shout from another family on a shoe string. But to start on our Little half acre this weekend. I'm blue collar Boi but I've barely used a chain saw either. Wife beat me up over buying that stihl lmao.
🤣 I can verify that a good chainsaw is worth the purchase. It sucks buying it, but it has definitely earned its keep
You must be closer to the coast whereas we are in the foothills... We will trade you some Appalachian Carolina Red clay for some of that sany soil!! 🤣
I don't have much advice over what you already know... One day at a time, but by bit. That is some thick stuff you have to tackle - good luck!
We are about 1.5 hours from the beach so we have plenty of sand to trade you!
