Dont need to bury the fencing for predators. All you need to do is lay it on the surface and place a few logs or rocks on top. It will sink into the ground a few inches over time. Predators always go up to the edge of the pen and then dig. The wire and rocks stop them every time.

So I'm assuming you got tax assessed as "seasonal recreational" if your county coder is calling it a hunting shack or cabin? But doesn't that limit you to a six month non-residential time-frame? hmmm. RV parks have this "six month shuffle" where you have to drive away for a couple days and then move back in.

Well i wouldnt dare putting bucks with does and kits, i did the thing to with my female and male meat bunnies, but buck killed two of the kits and only six remained, as bunny keeper to i highly reccomend NOT TO LEAVE A BUCK WITH KITS AND DOES, uneless they are not sexually matured

What size are those boxes(dimensions) and will this be sufficient for sw Indiana winters?

My rabbits eat a bunch of bark. I have a Bradford pear which is a weed tree and with all the leaves gone they'll strip the branches of bark. And with it being winter, I'm giving them a lot of ryegrass as well. Going to look into good grasses to grow in the summer time for them.

What scale do you use?

My rabbits will choose tree fodder, weeds, hay, anything before the pellets

At 70 years old, my wife and I are at the late stages of our life and finally getting started at homesteading in our retirement after 50 years of dreaming of this life. It is wonderful to see a young family such as yours who know what they want to do and make the commitment to their dreams and make them come true. I hope you keep it up and we're looking forward to watching your successes while we learn from you. We have had rabbits, pigs, gardens, etc., over the years but nothing as grand as what we hope we're starting now and you have already taught us a lot about what we need to do for our planned rabbit dinners.

I just finished up a well on Bradley road, almost to adamsburg road. Im going down tomorrow ( friday) to pump it to see how much it produces and to clear the water up. Went about 27 feet with the drilling rig....youre welcome to come check it out to see how i did it. I hit multiple clay layes that would clog that drive pipe well screen you folks are using.
