- Hi! I saw something interesting yesterday about the Paradox and their animation when they are sleeping especially the future Paradox. They litterally desactivate themselves. This remind me of AI Turo and AI Sada when we see them the first time. Told myself why not trying out all of them and here the result. Pretty funny nonetheless!

Can I just quickly mention that the Iron Treads animation is the best thing I've ever seen? Dude literally rocks himself to sleep. Not only is that efficient, it's also cute as heck.
Other people's ideas of cute Pokémon are fluffy and fairy-like, while my idea of a cute Pokémon is a lil robotic elephant guy just doing his thing

My sister who plays Scarlet (I play Violet) let me join a union circle and we shiny hunted Scream Tail together, and we ended up getting one for each of us! One of them's called Cranberry and the other one is called Acerola (as in the fruit, not the character) because I said, "it looks fruity but not in a gay way" and then we named them after fruits. I'm still on the hunt of Iron Treads, though!
I understand that you are a fan of Iron Treads. Also Does that mean you're a fan of the Pokemon Donphan family because that includes Great Tusk and Phanpy if that you like Donphan

Interesting how Iron Serpent's ultimate form powers off like the other machines, but the traversal mode sleeps much more like a flesh and blood creature.
I mean, hovering as a quadruped isn't very practical...
It could just go into its bike mode and power off

The Future Pokemon are like adorable iPhones and cars. They turn themselves off to sleep. That is so precious. Miraidon is the best. For a brutal and violent prehistoric elephant, Great Tusk is absolutely adorable when he's sleeping. I guess the everything is cute when they're sleeping. I love it that Slither Wing stands up when he's yawning. It's pretty realistic and adorable.

I honestly really like that most of the future ones turn off. I’m guessing that’s why the shinies are just them unpainted instead of changing the light colours though

I love Treads just rocking himself to sleep. That's just precious.
this is why game design is underrated and not loved enough sometimes. its the details they put in when they have the budget combined with some music. it just REALLY hits you in your heart seeing something peaceful.
Also when you're simply static at rest in the Overworld. When the wild Pokémon around you wander upto you, even the usually aggressive one sometimes. A bit unrelated but there's little more Precious than seeing Cetoddles faces it makes and it's goofy antic turning around and literally tail-wagging (mooning) you, lol.

I think that is gamefreak was allowed a little more time for polish and additional content, they can produce some of the most amazing games. All of these additions to the game are so creative and fun to discover

I can agree. I've seen all the Future ones because I actually have Violet but the Past ones are new to me and are adorable.
I was just caught off guard by seeing Jugulis's entire face turn off for the first time. It took looking at the pokedex art for me to notice it's entire face was pixels on a screen.
I like how you used Koraidon and Miraidon's Paradox names. I actually named my Koraidon buddy Winged King once I could nickname it. I felt it was only fitting.
Funny enough, I did the other way around, naming my paradox Pokémon stuff along the lines of Salamenace and Gardelade.

For me,I somehow named mine after one of the antagonists from Fire Emblem: Shadow's Of Valentia,Duma
I named mines afters mandjtv custom names but if anything ill just nickname it something they have😂

Then again all my team mons had FE names

I absolutely love the future mons! I love that they're also their own type rather than being steel/something like most people expected. Really makes you wonder what must have happened that forced these mons to become mecha in order to adapt in the distant future. There's a certain catastrophic sadness to them.

I like to think these guys went extinct and that scientists recreated them with a little bit of dna and machines
It's either nature evolving to imitate technology, as seen with various other Pokemon, or it's some Horizon Zero Dawn type thing.

It both sleeps like a normal pokemon and powers it's lights off.
My theory is that it was designed to be somewhat lifelike, sort of like a toy.
I just love how the future Pokémon fold ip and turn off for sleep mode. So precious

I remember being slightly amused and unnerved when I saw an Iron Hands sleeping for the first time in the background of a battle I was in 😂 Also Iron Jugulis is oddly adorable

I remember seeing Iron Hands sleeping in the wild for the first time and I was like "Uhh, is this one malfunctioning?" But, then, it turned back on when it noticed me and then I was like "OMG, is that how it sleeps?! That's cute."
The most interesting detail about Iron Jugulis is that its entire head is a screen. It's easy to notice when you look at it up-close, or when it sleeps like this.
Roaring Moon uses his wing as a blankie?! My heart can’t take it

In all honesty, I think the future mons are more interesting, mainly because they made Area Zero unsettling with their uncanny valley appearance. I just honestly love the vibe they give the place. I haven’t gone to Area Zero with the past mons yet but I would probably still prefer the creepy vibe of the future mons.

Iron Bundle is by far the cutest out of all Violet Paradox Pokémon.
And unlike the others, it doesn’t just completely shut off. Its eyes are still there
Paradox pokemon are one of my favorite parts of Scarlet and Violet besides the story and making creative sandwiches.
Pokedex entries: These otherworldly beings will kill without a second thought, if you see one, run the other way.

I think I made the right choice of picking Violet after seeing how Iron Threads sleeps.

Little touches like this are one of the things I love in Pokémon games.
This kind of stuff right here is why I like the future forms so much; they may be "The same Pokemon but a robot", but they're not JUST "The same Pokemon but a robot". Their animations give them so much more depth than they would if they were in the flesh, and I wish the dex actually showed them like in the past generations so more people could see them.
I mean they're a lot cooler and more unique compared to the past paradox ones.
The past paradox ones are just the same pokemon but more hair, more claws, slightly bigger size and that's that
They feel like regional forms, not some ancient monstrosity.

I think the coolest aspect of the Future Mons are their ambiguous nature. How did they come to be? Would future Pokemon have to become machines in order to survive some hellish landscape? Or did Pokemon go extinct and people made these bots in their image? It's fascinating to think about
Can we stop arguing and just agree that they're all cool?

Donphan got so much love here ahaha; it's future Paradox form rolls itself to sleep, and its past Paradox form sploots. I always loved this elephant; it's surprisingly friend-shaped for having such a tough expression.

Iron Moth is a spying UFO, Treads an alien weapon, Thorns is just from the future (from 1 billion years), Bundle an "ancient" robot, Hands was a cyborg, Jugulis is robot off spring (so pretty much also a cyborg)
@@Kyumifun Yep. I'm still so intrigued by them overall. Plus the fact a mad scientist was even involved at all. Why did the AI choose evil I wonder? What is it's purpose - for me, it's much more sinister than just some random thug like Lysander from say gen6's story.
I would give a blanket to Iron Thorns, Iron Juglis, Great Tusks, Slither Wings, Flutter Mane, and Roaring Moon because well.. they would get cold and it would be cute to see them curled under a blanket.

I have Violet so I knew how the Iron pokemon shut off their lights to sleep. Scarlet has some adorable sleep animations, especially Great Tusk.
Gotta say Iron Jugulis caught me by surprise. At first I wasn't expecting its entire face to shut off like that.

A lot of people don’t like the future paradox mons, while I love them I also really wish they made it less robotic. Like they should still have robotic features but still look like Pokémon if that makes any sense.
I'm pretty sure that the majority of people like future mons more than past but I like the past mons more. Idk what you mean by people not liking the future ones though.
@@ammarabbas5153 Nah, a lot of people like past mons more. When the game first dropped the future mons got a lot of hate, at least from the communities I've been in. So it's nice seeing a lot of people appreciate them

The future paradoxes turning off to sleep doesn't seem very farfetched. Turning off technology is probably the best way for it to sleep.

I have violet and I love how peaceful and polite iron bundle sleeps despite being the the most vile thing to encounter
I find the Robots (Future Paradox forms) so unsettling & creepy - they' always give me an Android/Cyborg sort of vibe. But they're cool - because they're just different, refreshing & really do cause you to think about Scarlet/Violet's plot more deeply. Really lures you into the actually very interesting lore. Yes, I wanted ''Megas Back'' too - but I prefer this new take. I loved the Ultra Beasts. And now these Paradoxes' too - just that the actual 'Original Pokémon' roster for selection wasn't very good imo.

I love how the past forms are given primitive names, like they came from a time before language developed complexity.
Idk why but I prefer iron treads over the past form. I used to not like it but it captivated me when I saw the titan version of it just rolling around.
The Future Paradox Pokémon are cool asf. They're overlooked because people dumb them down to "what if it was a cyborg robot" but that's what makes them interesting.
I didn't like Iron moth at first and regretted taking pokémon violet but now this buddy is my fave

I encountered a glitch while i was in a union circle in area zero where the paradox mons would stay asleep, so like picture an iron valiant in sleep mode, it gets hit, and them goes back to the sleep mode idle animation. Was pretty funny
I really like details like these that make the game overall adorable, sadly a lot of people only focus on what makes the game ‘bad’ and don’t really bother to mention neat little details like these sadly and i felt like the devs and animators were actually given time to make these, sadly people still hate this game anyway because of the amount of technical issues before the patch and complain about the graphics of the landscape despite the game looking overall beautiful anyway.
