Honestly, the move animations this gen is very bland compared to past games, but these Tera Blasts are beautiful! They really put in the effort with the sparkly effects and textures with the new mechanic.
Yeah I think it might be due to not having a separate screen for battles anymore and not having the cinematic battlw camera in the open world. At least the fixed solar beam though

My Ting-Lu is a dark tera type alongside Chien-Pao and Wo-Chien. Only Chi-Yu got a tera type that wasn't dark
