- Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.
I hope you appreciate my videos content, not an easy task to do but I'm here now.

I love how the ground tera crown fits so perfectly in Ting-Lu's antlers.
Also, the fighting tera blast is just all-out pummeling lol

My Ting-Lu is a dark tera type alongside Chien-Pao and Wo-Chien. Only Chi-Yu got a tera type that wasn't dark
Fun Fact:Since the top of Sandy shock spins the Tera jewel will spin aswell

Many people bash Tera for „the stupid looking hats“. I really like it though, because it grants some Pokemon very much needed coverage or can be used for defensive purposes. And I really like the fact that they made unique animations for every type of Tera Blast.
I’d say the only problem is lack of unique forms, which I’m glad the dlc fixed a little

I've seen it before and i love it
same goes for Regidrago.
The Dragon Tera Crown on Koraidon looks perfect on him.
My favourite is probably the Dark-type one, it has a very menacing glow while the others are bright and glimmering, very unique!
Or fairy type with that giant fucking magical girl heart with wings 💀 or psychic's giant eye balls lmao
@@adam.n-steve honestly, the only tera crown I think looks ridiculous is the flying one. There was so much more they could have done, but gamefreak gotta gamefreak somewhere.

To be honest, I don't think the Terastralize phenomenon is bad. I think it's a good gimmick, it lasts throughout the battle just like Mega Evo.
Really? I’m still starting out, but I did find it handy like when the trailer shows how much it benefits x4 weakness Pokémon.
Tera Rock Arboliva saved my mono challenge.
My problem with it is that there's barely any power fantasy flavor wise, like past gimmicks. You have cool super saiyan forms, Super Sentai-style finishing moves, colossal kaiju mon, and then there's silly hats.
Mega > zmove > terastalize > dynamax
@@-loosh4810 I personally think Z-moves are at the end of the line here. Big moves just aren't nearly as exciting as new designs.
I feel like the Ground Tera was made to go on Ting-Lu. It just looks like it fits too well.

Lol, while I felt the vibe how Bisharp just thought "Damn" when just saw Gardevoir destroyed that poor Scyther

Wouldn't be suprise if there was a trainer that use 6 gimmicks against the player despite the requirements like a power spot for dynamax.

I'm kinda sad they didn't make much of a unique attack animation for the Grass-Type Tera Blast aside from just a green version of the Normal Tera Blast. I would've loved if it was similar to Leaf tornado or Petal Blizzard

Yep and the ghost one is based on the default ghost in gen 1 when you meet the "unknown" ghost in the tower in Lavender Town.
All of them are cool looking in my opinion. Also, has anyone noticed how well the hats fit on certain Pokémon like Magnamite?

Honestly, the move animations this gen is very bland compared to past games, but these Tera Blasts are beautiful! They really put in the effort with the sparkly effects and textures with the new mechanic.
Yeah I think it might be due to not having a separate screen for battles anymore and not having the cinematic battlw camera in the open world. At least the fixed solar beam though
Honestly the only good one are the starters signature moves as well as the legendary
@@cantdestroyher7245 that's very true, i guess the direction is for the battles to feel more like live real-world action. At least the trainer battles still have the cinematic camera. I'll miss seeing the nice Terrain backdrops from Gens 6 and 7, and Retaliate with that samurai-movie-esque background 🥲
@@cheapshot3126 yeah the starters' moves are pretty good, usually they get the best unique move animations. However, Quaquaval's could be better, the movements and effects just don't match at all 😅

My personal favorite tera crowns are grass, water, bug, and steel. They dont look overly strange on the head of the pokemon.
I like dragon, ghost, poison, fighting, and steel the most imo
Rotom fan form will still be safe from ground type moves if it’s Tera type is electric because of the ability levitate. I like how they did that.

So I’m not the only one who named the pseudo Legendary after Godzilla, I named it Gojira though.
(edit: yes im aware of when it was discovered/proper tera orbs were made to make it accessible. I'm talking about the connection between the likely ancient crystal leggie and seemingly modern imagery) The fire, fighting, ESPECIALLY electric, and to a lesser extent rock and steel ones make me question how ancient this phenomenon is supposed to be- since buildings and axes are old as anything but I promise you metal weapons did not look like That, candles date back pretty far but same for candelabras, p...punching gloves? I can buy the fighting one as just a fist and some fighting-types seemingly had boxing-glove-like hands before humans made them, but an ELECTRIC LIGHTBULB? Is this a major lore hint that it's only been happening for a couple centuries TOPS? Is it going to tie into the time distortions to justify modern or at least manmade tech appearing in this seemingly natural power?

Terastal orbs were made 20 years prior
The orbs that allow it are apparently only 20 years old so odds are some tera crowns adjusted to suit the era. Or maybe the crowns themselves are a result of the orbs? Note this is confirmed to be caused by a (at current) unknown legendary mon

Terastallize really only work for some pokemon while others look very stupid to look at.
I wish it didn’t have that hat😂 or that the hats were smaller, some of them look silly.
Let's be honest, the only reason they give the crown is because some people wouldn't know the tera type or confused...

Can we talk about the lamest tera blast(Steel) is the only one that isn’t some kind of pallet swap of the others? Grass and Normal; Fire and Dragon; Water, Bug, Rock and Fighting; Dark and Flying; Psychic, Ghost, Fairy, and Electric; and Ice, Ground, and Poison are all clones of eachother more or less and odd one out is just the least impressive 😂
Fire is Flamethrower and Dragon is Dragon Breath.

The rock type animation is the best
I just realized each Tera type has a unique animation that flows fork underneath the Pokemon. (Ex: fairy has little hearts that come out, etc)

Not quite. The starter abilities are life orb boosted, but Tera is the same as adaptability

@@ZyroDemon all of the pokemons u see that are shining in the wild (which are the terastallized pokemons) are included in the game's data. meaning that everyone has it in their copy and it's not random. beside the dark tera arctibax, another examples that i can think of are 1, the fairy tera sylveon near the fairy type team star's base and 2, the water tera garchomp in that rocky cave that i forgot where exactly xD

@@diegov2point0 dynamax is a cool concept but very basic at the same time , the Pokémon just gets big that’s it. It’s wayyy to overpowered as well like the double hp and max moves were just disgusting. The 3 turns only was still broken cause in that time you usually build up enough buffs to sweep the opponents whole team lmao

Beat Team Star bosses, you'll unlock various TMs to use. Tera Blast was obtained like in the very beginning
