We bought and installed this same mirror cam before you did the video. It’s the best addition to our Beyond 2022 AWD 22c Li3. Can’t imagine driving without it. We also installed the rear camera on the roof. We didn’t go through the side overhead cabinets and ran cable behind it secured with gaffer tape. Didn’t bother with the red wire connection since we use the Ford cam for backing up. Incidentally, Ford offers a video cam mirror in its European Transit vans but not yet in the USA.
When traveling we use the Ford app and FB group to finds Ford dealerships that honor The Ford “Works” coupons. When local we go to Ewald Ford in Hartford, WI.

So technically you do not need to hook it up the the back up lights since the Transit is already wired for the park assist?

Great video. I do wonder if a zip tie could have been used to fish the wire using those existing up/down holes instead of having to drill through.

Any chance you got the hardwire kit as well? If so, what fuses did you plug them in?
