This episode is key to something Chidi mentions in the tearful episode ""Pandemonium", just before Michael reboots him, Chidi says to Eleanor, "Time means nothing. Jeremy Bearimy, baby. We'll just get through this and then you and I can chill out in the dot of the I forever." One could arrive in Heaven to find that the entire Life timeline is complete and viewable from beginning to end. Which would mean that not only would your ancestors be in Heaven, but your descendants as well. Spooky!

I absolutely love how this show just does what ever it wants with metaphysical concepts and touch them so lightly. The time knife, This, the guy who got 80% right. Just really funny stuff
They focused on the dot so much that I think it'll come into play later in the season. Like if its a time period that they can hide in the afterlife or something. Just a theory
The door in the good place leads to the dot because in their universe you can't end your existence so the only way to really die is going where nothing occurs
If Jeremy Bearimy breaks down due to a paradox, the dot, being separate from that timeline, will be the only unaffected area, thus making it a "period" of time.
This is the clip I saw of the Good Place on RUclips that made me want to watch the entire series. I'm so glad it didn't spoil the season 1 twist. This clip was just so funny I was like "I need to watch this show" and then I binged it all the way up to season 3 in like 3 or 4 days.

Like every episode is pretty good for a finale it's genuinely impressive lol
The writers don't follow a regular old TV arch timeline. They follow the Jeremy Bearimy.
This is my favourite scene capped off perfectly when Janet points at it without looking with a smile during a depressing moment and says "that's my birthday".
I love this show. I was in hysterics at Chidi's reaction to Jeremy Bearimy. xD
The look on Chidi's face at 0:31 is everything
"Sometimes the dot is the moment when nothing never happens." -- Yeah, man. Yeah.

That’s Jeremy Bearimy
@@cnpadds9000 I was just thinking that 🤣🤣
I absolutely love how this show just does what ever it wants with metaphysical concepts and touch them so lightly. The time knife, This, the guy who got 80% right. Just really funny stuff
I love how Chidi "breaks" by a point, after everything Michael and Janet said 😂😂
This show makes me so happy inside. So much love
I was so glad Chidi freaked out over the dot when I first saw this, because the moment Michael moved away from the board I felt the same emotions.
They focused on the dot so much that I think it'll come into play later in the season. Like if its a time period that they can hide in the afterlife or something. Just a theory
and the fact Chidi references it to Eleanor in the s3 finale.... hmmmm
Where and when?
The door in the good place leads to the dot because in their universe you can't end your existence so the only way to really die is going where nothing occurs
@@mani_stud All the time and also never
If Jeremy Bearimy breaks down due to a paradox, the dot, being separate from that timeline, will be the only unaffected area, thus making it a "period" of time.
the more I watch it, the more sense it makes.
Chidis reaction to the i got me😂
Put the peeps in the chillie pot...
This is the clip I saw of the Good Place on RUclips that made me want to watch the entire series. I'm so glad it didn't spoil the season 1 twist. This clip was just so funny I was like "I need to watch this show" and then I binged it all the way up to season 3 in like 3 or 4 days.
Janet is the most beautiful thing in this whole show❤️
Ted Danson’s hip swivel at 0:51 sells it.
When Michael started explaining how time works in the afterlife, did anyone else secretly hope he'd be all "wibbly wobbly timey wimey"?
The comment I was looking for
"So sorry for eternally dooming you,"
"And that's our bad guys"
😂
“Yeah- That’s our bad, guys.” XDDDD I love Janet so much
I love how Jeremy Bearimy makes sense and no sense at the same time
The line at 0:46 is ✨SMOOTH✨
this was one of the best joke scenes ever. its been over for so long and i revert to this video for an easy laugh.
Did anyone else totally miss Simone? I actually love the addition of her character, even though I know I’m supposed to be rooting for Elenor and Chidi.
Simone was lovely, and I liked her and Chidi together.
Fabalocious Dee ya, I hope thy don’t just cut her from the show, now that everyone is all teamed up!
And I love that she was a nice person who still didn't take anyone's crap. If someone was rude to her, she calmly let them know and then left. Honestly, Simone is an icon.
AmityRavenclawElf I wrote this before Chidi broke up with her, and now I’m really upset😉. I mean, as upset as you can be with a TV show you like...Simone definitely deserves to be in the good place.
chidi and simone had great chemistry.
The delivery of "Okay, buy, um, what the hell is this?!?!" always sends me.
This scene made be laugh out loud like I can't even remember doing for the longest time.
My dogs were concerned.
Same XD
I just started watching this show my birthday, which is was July 20th, which was on a Tuesday this year!
Time is an illusion that helps things makes sense, so we're always living in the present tense. It seems unforgiving when a good thing ends. but you and I will always be back then. Singing we'll happen happening happened.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh I was just getting over it damn it!
@@marooned_gar So sorry for eternally dooming you.😎
@@sammyheinen2916 Yes
Stap it
I hear that not only is time an illusion but "lunch time doubly so."
It is almost synonymous with everybody that chidi guy and his confused state of mind and the facial expressions stuck to everyone of us... I'm a big fan... What an artist!
