Great fun review - I ordered the identical (Chalk/ Crayon) 😍car you drove here from Germany (to the USA) and it is my second Macan. When I had my first one I had a 911 that sat in the garage a lot after trading up to Macan from SQ5 - The Macan just gives you the same drive feel as the smaller Porsches (my opinion) - Love this car and glad you did also.
As a motoring journalist that was very poor review. Little research to find out where the boot latch was a small point but not knowing how to switch to manual mode?!?? And no V8? Macan has never had a V8 and if you really think a V6 does not have a nice burble then I pity you. You didn’t even open the sports exhaust and try for the overrun. All enthusiasm and little knowledge.
John I respect that you are a motoring journalist but high performance luxury SUV’s are not my field of expertise given the fact I’m young and I thought I wouldn’t ever get a chance to drive like this hence why it never interested me (that turned out otherwise). I’ll make a correction comment about the V8 as I most likely got mixed up with the Panamera and please excuse I only have 30 minutes with these cars to make a video that’s even remotely watchable.
My husband and I are planning to buy an S before the end of the year. Can’t decide between charcoal metallic exterior with red leather interior or red exterior with black leather. Very excited :)
I just got my new Macan S delivered on the 1st Dec after a 12 months waiting list. Configuring it was really hard deciding on all the options & colours etc. Love the car though it’s amazing.
Nice review kiddo. How's the steering feel, looks good and a good driving experience, even for the v6 it sounds good. Shame we may not see the v8 again in a few years. Is there a speed limit on the test 🤔
Nice vid but recommend you do just a little more research before posting a car review, and I’d definitely agree that your average rich mom could most definitely drive it better than this 😂
Agreed. And what’s most hilarious is he knew nothing about the brand Porsche to even title it that. He isn’t an enthusiast. He didn’t know how to pop the trunk!
@@ArmaganDemiral Rich mom’s car can be a Range rover, Cadillac Escalade , Mercedes Gls, Audi Q7, Bmw x7, Porsche Cayenne or a G class This is not a higher tier Suv like the one’s I mentioned. Any middle class people can buy this car also this is a small suv.
I made a comment about the Macan’s previously having a V8 engine. This is incorrect and the Macan’s have always come with V6’s as the biggest motor.
S is more than enough. I bought a 2022 gts and there is no difference between the two.
I agree the GTS seems unnecessary
People are already poking fun that I'm buying a mom car but I'd say that's offensive to the car, it can be a dad car too if it wants 😂
