That reflection of a younger Noctis is a nice touch. Ignis never seen his friend grew up to become the man he was, only a vision of him being stabbed by his own ancestors.
The True Villain of this whole FFXV Universe is basically Bahamut.
I recommend reading FFXV Dawn of the Future. Its basically a written version of all the cut DLC episodes (Aranea, Luna and I think Noctis), and explores an alternate timeline where Luna survives
I cried my fair share when I played this, and then when I played it again. And now with you. This is probably the game that has made me cry the hardest :')

Episode Ardyn is my favorite dlc, I love everything about it. The game play (shadow stepping is awesome), the lore, Ardyn himself, and his battle quotes! They’re amazing. My favorite is probably “where’s your head?” or “Think you can kill me? I’d love to see you try.” xD
And the ending felt so powerful. I chose the “resist your fate” ending and it really shook me I guess. It was very memorable.
It’s just not often you get to play as the villain and go though their journey like that, and I loved every second of it.
That’s true I’ve never gotten to play as the villain before! I loved the conflict of knowing he’s evil but also knowing he wasn’t always that way. The lore in his DLC episode was also super cool!!
Seeing you tear up made me tear up too. Ignis is the best party member.

Wow! Episodes Ignis and Ardyn we're amazing. I always love to see the back story of the villain. The villains are not just born bad and that's it, they are made bad by someone or situations. So sad what happened to Ardyn. And Prompto was so adorable as a little kid. So cute and chubby. Cuuuuuute! ❤️❤️❤️

Gosh! I just realized how much like Ignis I am...I lost my little sister weeks before I decided to play through this game not knowing that it had a lot of death. I can totally imagine how hard it must have been for Ignis knowing that Noctis had to die....then when it actually happened....golly!
I'm so broken up by it because I totally get what Ignis is feeling! Losing someone you practically spend your whole life with is never easy! Especially when they're so young! GOSH! I hate that I just made that connection!

Did you ever watch Kingsglaive, Brotherhood, and the Episode Ardyn Prologue? Or play the Comrades DLC?
I'm a huge FF fan, but I was not impressed with how they pretty much made the story of the game reliant on having to have played 5 DLCs, and having watched the movie and the animes
I watched Kingsglaive and Episode Ardyn prologue! I get what you mean but I still think I would have had the same reactions without the additional media, it stands up on its own, I just think the extra content adds a lot - especially episodes Ardyn and Ignis ☺️

Gonna replay the main game as well as the dlc this time on pc with mods (whenever I get it built) since I only played the base game on console when it released
Omg that’s so exciting! I hope you have loads of fun, it seems to me like the royal version plus the DLC’s are a big improvement on the base game! Hope you get on well with the pc port, I have heard it can be a little dodgy!!
Personally:
Prompto>Ignis>Gladio in terms of combat.
I love using crackshot to destroy enemies as prompto and stealing weapons with overkill. I like Gladio but don’t love the way his sword arts charge up so he goes to last. Ignis isn’t great or bad to me, he’s perfectly average to me. (He also falls behind to me cause I don’t like the lightning daggers at all)
Though mankind may not realize we would have gotten Lunas character development alternate episode and arenea episode if it weren't for them cancelling the bad a name that sounds better as a episode then a book dawn to the future

So glad you enjoyed the 15 video!! I fell in love with 15 too 🥺 so I actually played 7R before I even started streaming, so sadly my first playthrough doesn’t exist 😭 so sorry!!
