We thought about creating a MH group on Facebook where you can invite friends. It is for you guys to find skilled people to join rather than having to play with randoms. I think the Darkside community is one of the more skilled MH communities since we almost exclusively feature end game content. What do you think about that?
Hmmm, is a quest with capture could be better than dual rajang ? Since you can't cap in this area I'm wondering if a quest with capture possibility could be faster for rush HR, because you have 40sec less to wait after the main objective completed :p

Nice video. Not a lot of pple can post dual rajang, What are you're thoughts on Crimson Fatty G rank quest? I was in a group of 4 people all using Glaive with Rodeo God, Challenger+2 and HGE and a 4th skill depending on the player, and we ran it under 3 mins each time.
Devil Jho I tend to kick people from rooms if they are G special permit and under hr 100. It may not be indicative of skill, but it does indicate work put into the game and time spent grinding. As opposed to people who suck and just got carried through to G special with low hrs.

In a nutshell: -There´s no Importance of reaching HR 999. -There´s no need on getting Silver or Gold Crown cause with Bronze Crown you get Special Permit already. The only thing I can´t decipher Is why do I still keep playing the game ~_~
U are soo right. after HR90 u stop getting quests at hr7... no further benefits at all. Gold Crown just shows that u've uncovered all scrolls... it actually doesnt make you "higher"..... but people still make differences between bronze, silver and gold -.-
AKA: Guild Quest Ultima Weapon: *Long purple Sharpness bar; The strongest raw damage each weapon can reach; Either 3 Slots or Edge master Jewels (5points) and some attribute element* (The same goes for the armors and talismans, and a lot of varieties on gunner weapons and Hunting horns... etcetera F/)

Not really relevant to the video, but is it normal to have to use 1 or 2 carts in order to actually kill certain bosses if playing entirely offline? I'm not sure if the game is just hard as fuck, or if I really suck. Nerscylla fucked me up bad and I had to use one cart and get the sub-quest supplies and I'm just wondering how the fuck would someone be able to fight anything stronger or like two at once without a way to get significantly better gear first
Soloing is often where all the pride really is. Not being able to do certain quests solo sometimes isn't that bad, for the higher end quests it could be literally impossible unless you use tricky and clever methods like in this video.
Wow. Nobody responded to you in a month? Killing Gogmazios to get G-special permit I carted twice. But up until that point, I was pretty okay. But once I got my G-Special rank I figured I was good enough to play online, so I haven't solo'd since then. But if you're carting once or twice in G-special, I would think that would be normal too.

I suddenly lost all respect for anyone with HR700+ Thanks :/ Let me elaborate. This video claims that HR has nothing to do with your skill. I beg to differ, but not entirely. Yes, a shitty hunter can get a high HR just by getting carried a lot, but more often than not, people with HR200+ aren't there because they got carried for hundreds of hours. They are there because they are dedicated hunters, with a lot of experience and equipment under their belts. Using this method, someone who rushed to G* with an HR of 40-60, who got carried through key quests and urgents, can easily get an HR of 200+ This method is what makes HR an innaccurate measure of skill and dedication, and I am vehemently against it personally. Of course thats not going to stop anyone from doing it, just my 2 cents.
orikalin if you happen to get the guild cards for said players you can easily know if they actually grinded to 999 the normal way or they used this method. I mean if you see he's killed like 2k rajangs or something that will be a big tell lol. I know it's not a viable thing to do but it could still help retain some respect for higher hr people that actually grinded different monsters for 999.
ChrisRs I had 1.6k rajangs killed. Majority was from 140 GQ duo rajang though. I did use this quest to farm up some HR too. So, a more accurate way would be looking at what type of quests and how many of these quests have been done.

It's better to naturally farm your way up to 999 (not even really sure why, guess just for the blue name). Can't fill out the largest/smallest crown awards when you only fight rajang. You know, I don't get what me and my friend are doing wrong for the two player part, we're putting him to sleep, paralyzing him, then putting him to sleep again, I guess the only difference is that instead of continuing shooting when he goes to sleep for a second time, we just put bombs over his head again, but for some reason it's just not killing him as fast as it shows here, what could we be doing wrong? And we got all the skills and everything required.
+RazorDragon13 Be sure to have critical distance with HBG and shoot pierce 2 If you have a good status gunner, he can also shoot clust in between or do some bombing. Also a good status gunner always tries to para/sleep as late as possible to give HBGunners more time. But I really recommend doing this at least 3P since it is way faster and less item consuming if you want to grind with this quest. Or you can just do the Lv140 Rajang Stygian quest for less points but better reward
+Team Darkside Okay well I can say I am at critical distance, because my entire screen is shaking as I'm shooting, I'm the HBG while my friend is the status dealer. And the skills I ended up with are the same, the only difference is that I have Attack up (XL) instead of Attack up (L) that's the only difference with my HBG set and the only difference with the LBG set he's got is that he was only able to get Status Atk. +1 instead of +2 so we're still trying to figure things out. Literally though, when he ends up jumping out of the spot where we had him pinned it turns out he was just like 5 or 6 shots away from death. .H.
RazorDragon13 Atk Up L or XL doesn't really matter. What does though is the lack of Status +2. Make sure to eat specialist to compensate that or bring another HBGunner. Hope I could help you out
Thankfully me and my friends all have sets for speed runs including the status one and someone who knows how to keep rajang harmless since we always speed run lv150 double rajang GQ, but we don't have this quest :'( Is there any other quest that is at least close to this one for HR grinds?

I've been booted as soon as I enter the hall, I'm not in Star Knight and not HR 999 just normal playing... I always hate being booted because it makes me feel like "Oh, am I not good enough for you?!"
Aaron Care Well If it's a 140 GQ and you come in with def below 700 and you are not a gunner. You 100% will get booted no need you to be filling space for someone with better defense to join. That is how it goes usually.
+Numbr1beast 1) Did you make sure your set had recoil +1? 2) Did you press A repeatedly or hold it down? Holding it down is faster than mashing the button, if that's where the problem lies.
+Sepulture Figured it out. The video doesn't share the fact that you need to also equip silencer to minimize status shot recoil. Also, limit remover is a great help too. And holding 'A' only works for HBG rapid fire

+Refticon You guys gotta be carefull. I hate those kind of people. You may also join a quest which instantly pushes you up to HR999 without knowing. So be carefull not to safe your game after the quest. Anybody will see that you leveled up with a custom quest in your guild card. Those people ruin other people's gaming experience!

Tips for soloing? HR jangs are more difficult than G rank, lots of time wasting moves too so the second jang shows up before the first one dies.

If you have exchanger with Drink + Drink in Saute and Stew you can replace one of the drinks with Fish. That way you won't get Unlucky Cat.

I've been booted as soon as I enter the hall, I'm not in Star Knight and not HR 999 just normal playing... I always hate being booted because it makes me feel like "Oh, am I not good enough for you?!"
Aaron Care Well If it's a 140 GQ and you come in with def below 700 and you are not a gunner. You 100% will get booted no need you to be filling space for someone with better defense to join. That is how it goes usually.
And that's why I play alone. No need to have some dorks tell me I'm not good.

I've tried this and my shots don't get off nearly as fast as this video. The run never goes as smooth and the Jang just ends up moving alot.
+Numbr1beast 1) Did you make sure your set had recoil +1? 2) Did you press A repeatedly or hold it down? Holding it down is faster than mashing the button, if that's where the problem lies.

Numbr1beast I don't think so. I haven't seen any difference between the video and my own shots, however, so I'm not sure where the problem lies.

+Sepulture Figured it out. The video doesn't share the fact that you need to also equip silencer to minimize status shot recoil. Also, limit remover is a great help too. And holding 'A' only works for HBG rapid fire

+athen wong Any quest in this game can be solo'd. It's up to you to look up or find your own way, the latter of which is most of the fun of the game, I feel.

So be carefull not to safe your game after the quest. Anybody will see that you leveled up with a custom quest in your guild card. Those people ruin other people's gaming experience!

+Eggaudo It's awesome to have a high HR, but hacking it in is what's bad, also as said in the video sometimes people think you cheated even though you do it legit.
MH3 will always be my favorite. (I did start with the forst MH, thought the controls were bad.)
I don't know of anyone who thought the second analog stick to attack was good controls :u But it was interesting to say the least, P3RD will be my favorite always.

und für solo spieler kann ich auch noch den Dorf crimson fatalis empfehlen.bringt recht gute punkte und stirbt sehr schnell.(dauert aber trozdem deutlich länger als die rajang quest)

~Mew/Thi/Rias~ Ich finds lustig wie sich alle Powersave-User immer über ihre "legit" Talismane rechtfertigen, es im Endeffekt aber eigentlich egal ist, da es eh nur 2 Arten von Leuten gibt:
- Die, denen es scheiß egal ist ob jemand hackt
- und die die dich kicken und als Hacker bezeichnen egal, ob du nen guten Charm per Powersave oder legit im Spiel bekommen hast, einfach weil sie neidisch sind
Im Endeffekt macht es also keinen Unterschied: wenn du nen guten Charm hast wirst du wie ein Hacker behandelt.
Khion Wer kickt denn bitte leute mit legitimen charms? XD Ich kick wohl hacker (dämlichster war bis jetzt JR1 Weiße Fatalis Rüstung...) aber keine die legitime charms haben.
Oh ich wurd schon oft mit legit charms gekickt. Handwerk6, Angriff4 OO zum beispiel. Ist legit, trotzdem wurd ich deswegen oft als Hacker bezeichnet.

What is the purpose of a hunter rank if all you're doing is grinding one monster without using real skill? Seems like an artificial hunter rank.
