I definitely did when I worked as a Medical Assistant (MA) and is the reason I didn’t last very long .. most of the people I worked with only acted nice and were friends with each other, but were petty behind closed doors when you did one thing wrong 😅 But I agree, Nick is definitely relatable here 🙌🏼🙌🏼

the IT department is like the organization’s punching bag lmao especially when you’re maintaining software. if it works, you’re just doing your job. if it suddenly doesn’t, it’s your fault. the idea that it’s a user error is just a myth
Honestly if you assume that "not rebooting" and "installing random software" are part of user error, we're talking like 75% of all problems are user error.
I only manage my family's network and network devices or fix their stuff and occasionally help other people. I sometimes get a "what'd you do to it" I couldn't imagine working in an IT department 😭. At this point I'm used to it. Edit: I work in an IT department now, help
Fun fact: he’s the same guy at the career day booth who talks to Pam about joining her art program by telling her she only needs to learn photoshop, dream weaver etc.
Correct me if I wrong but basically what happened is Nick knew all along that Andy was the snitch but was still gonna keep quiet about it until he snapped at everyone. If that's the case that's really nice of him.
Somehow Nick just became my favorite character on The Office! I love his perfect exit at the end. Flips everyone off and then points to his middle finger!🤣🤣🤣
I love that the IT guy "exposes secrets" and he chooses the least embarrassing things like when he chastises Darryl for being on Facebook, not telling anyone and people just wanting to be his friend. I was expecting embarrassing selfies, something along those lines. LOL
There's a line you just don't cross, my guy. If you come across things you really weren't supposed to, you keep it to yourself. Seeing bad photography or someone's Facebook is one thing because that's not meant to be super private. Exposing someone's search history on a lonely night or their private picture library is another matter altogether. Nick's not that guy lmao
It’s not him being on Facebook which is embarrassing, it’s him telling people he’s not on Facebook so he doesn’t have to add them as friends ie he doesn’t really see his co-workers as friends. Hardly the most shocking secret but it is slightly embarrassing. It would be like saying you can’t go to someone’s party because you’re busy, but the truth is that you just don’t like them
Darryl's downcast look at 1:22 is hilarious, but there's an even better (and more subtle) joke in this scene: Nick is the same guy who was so nice, helpful, and patient with Pam when she was looking for career guidance at the job fair in an earlier episode. See what working at Dunder Mifflin will do to you?
When I worked in an office setting years ago I always respected the IT guy. When we needed to work he was a God send. When we needed him to stall a lil bit getting the computers back up at least he had us believing he gave us another 30 min to an hour of downtime. Soooo respect to that guy.

as a past food service worker and lifelong IT guy i can say there is a golden rule to live by and that is "don't mess with the people who serve your food or admin your systems". remember words my friends.
As a teacher who’s can’t function with IT, I always make friends with the IT department. They are critical to literally everything.
If anyone’s ever worked a thankless job in environments filled with ppl who are full of themselves in their little circle. Nick is the most relatable and human character in this very moment
I definitely did when I worked as a Medical Assistant (MA) and is the reason I didn’t last very long .. most of the people I worked with only acted nice and were friends with each other, but were petty behind closed doors when you did one thing wrong 😅 But I agree, Nick is definitely relatable here 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Nick is a horrible person. You don't start revealing secrets because someone is not nice to you
@@bern9642 i mean they offended him when he was saying goodbye to his coworkers
@@peashooder they ignored him. Regardless, you don't just start revealing people's private information. People are just justifying breach of confidence
@Randy Leggett then you are also a horrible person. And not trustworthy. The type who would release naked pictures of an ex just for revenge
Hey you're not supposed to do that , sport.
He just said his name. Did you forget it already?

“This guys the snitch,he’s the snitch” 😂😂😂 1:34
the IT department is like the organization’s punching bag lmao especially when you’re maintaining software. if it works, you’re just doing your job. if it suddenly doesn’t, it’s your fault. the idea that it’s a user error is just a myth
They also waste a lot of time doing absolutely nothing sometimes too.
I kinda thought HR department would be the punching bag lol

🤣
1:25 The look of betrayal on Erin's face when Nick told everyone that Darryl is on Facebook.
"So that's it. Check it out..." *points to his middle finger* 😂😂
Fun fact: he’s the same guy at the career day booth who talks to Pam about joining her art program by telling her she only needs to learn photoshop, dream weaver etc.
So this is where Robby went after his heart got broken by CeCe and Jess
I've been searching for a comment like this
Technically Jess was his 3rd cousin sooo they chose to end it.
Cece, Jess and Nadia
I looked for this too
What reference is this?
Correct me if I wrong but basically what happened is Nick knew all along that Andy was the snitch but was still gonna keep quiet about it until he snapped at everyone. If that's the case that's really nice of him.
Yup. He was a good guy who got pushed to his limit.
Somehow Nick just became my favorite character on The Office! I love his perfect exit at the end. Flips everyone off and then points to his middle finger!🤣🤣🤣
"Check it out." 😄
“okay, well ‘nick’, we’re in a meeting” gets me every time lol
“It’s either Gabe or Angela. *flips coin* It’s Angela! Get her boys.”
Creed is always so funny🤣
C’mon gang!
As an IT guy myself I can affirm this is how you were treated in the real corporate world
Expose them all
I hate Andy, I’m glad he let everybody know.
Nick was so wholesome even when revealing secrets he wa trying to help Darrel and complimenting him
I love that the IT guy "exposes secrets" and he chooses the least embarrassing things like when he chastises Darryl for being on Facebook, not telling anyone and people just wanting to be his friend.
It would be like saying you can’t go to someone’s party because you’re busy, but the truth is that you just don’t like them
During the time The Office takes place smartphones and selfies aren't a thing yet
@@AizensPlan selfies existed before smartphones, camera phones were well known

I love this line so much XD
the fact that Dwight remembers "Sadiq" and not the IT guy's name is just beautiful

@@redacted2275 Fair point.
He was a great character, too bad he was treated so harshly

@@ScaredHelmet oof...
Garth wasn't that great and wasn't even there very long. Sport was better
When I worked in an office setting years ago I always respected the IT guy.
When we needed to work he was a God send.
When we needed him to stall a lil bit getting the computers back up at least he had us believing he gave us another 30 min to an hour of downtime.
Soooo respect to that guy.
people who let you steal company time are the most based people on the planet. going straight to jesus' VIP hotel lmao
Shame you couldn't remember his name 😢
@BryonComprehension Palestinians are being oppressed in Gaza. Sorry that something so insignificant causes you tear up. Have you shed a tear for them tho? Says a lot about a person.
@@notallowed337 it's irony. Sorry you took it the wrong way. Just figured if you respected a guy so much, you would at least remember his name right? Not sure why you're getting so upset
@BryonComprehension nope. I'm terrible with names especially one over 20 years ago and relationship was working related only. But please save some of that eye urine for the many atrocities going on today instead of for a random IT guy whom you've never met.
I took exactly the way you so assholeishly meant it.
I think Nick the I.T. guy could've been a great addition to the cast.
I love how he busted on Ryan and Kelly. "You're no photographer, and you, you definitely can't fit into a size 2!"
