watching here and remembering when I was playing it too back in 2011 .. 2012 .. I was addicted and loved this game then, I remember my roommate saying: if you like this game, you should play dark souls, then I said : hmm dark souls ? Well then, needless to say how I got so addicted to them .
You are the best youtuber in publishing full game walkthroughs. I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm pretty sure it is a lot of hard work and dedication to put these videos out.

I just want this game for the graphics and the animations
I’ve played all the souls game. They were all fun and some I played over a few times but this game I can literally play over and over. There’s just a charm to it.

Thank you for the walkthrough, I finally decided to start a Soulsborne game for the first time and this was the first pick for my still working PS3 slim, even tho this walthrough is the remastered edition it still works the same! Cheers! 🍺🍻👍💪🥰
one of the best souls classics love it all the way
Played this for the first time last month (29 hrs).
Some of the Boss run backs are genuinely absurd and some of the 'hard' bosses were first tries for me!
The trips to the bosses are harder than the bosses themselves. Then again, this was the first ever souls game so the formula wasn’t perfected at this time
I'm on my first playthrough ever and after 5 hours *checks notes* I just started 1-2 lol
Great game but one nitpick I have that REALLY annoys me is when you block with a shield there is basically ZERO feedback. Your shield should recoil a bit like in dark souls 1. They did this even better in elden ring where there are different cool animations depending on how powerful the blow you blocked was. Some even causing your whole character to be blown back with the force while still managing to keep his shield up and just losing a ton of stamina. In demons souls and this remake you hold out the shield and even if you block a big 2 handed sword swing the animation looks like the enemy threw a toothpick at your shield. That said this remake improved my biggest nitpick with original demons souls which was basically no sound while exploring in ghost form. It makes sense but still sucks and feels off. In the remake the footsteps are back thank god.
The walking and running animations in dark souls 1 and 3 were way better than how they made the movement in this game.

Newbie question but why would you kill yourself every time you regain your corporeal form? Is there an advantage to playing throughout in spirit form?

Yes, this is an entire genre to get into, its called "soulslike" games, They have plenty of games with high difficulty such as darksouls, bloodborne and Elden Ring @user-ws8bh1lf4k

World Tendency decreases if You die in Human form in any of the worlds, which makes the game harder. By dying in the Nexus, You avoid Dark World tendency all together.
