    I love your videos! Can I ask, what does the pectin do in this experiment, and why did you modify your previous method of making an agar bioplastic (i.e. by adding the pectin and using 25 parts glycerin solution instead of 50 parts (to 1 part agar))?

      The different ratio is just so it's easier to dip and coat the banana. The pectin seems to make the bioplastic more resistant (I don't know how it works exactly). I've made some tests but not on video yet.

    Nice! Just curious, did you maybe open the banana after 30 days and see if it was still edible?

      After 30 days it was 'borderline edible', too soft, like it gets when a banana is bruised but right before it rots.
      I guess I should've included that in the video! Damn...
