I recently took a trip up to New York, and once I realized I was going to be I Josh's neck of the woods! After a long day of trying to navigate through the subway systems, and failing, I finally made it to Josh's and created some sweet covers for you all!
(Also, thank you all for getting us to over a million views on our cover of the Patsy Cline song "Crazy"! That is crazy indeed!)
The weather a few weeks ago up in New York was starting to gain a slight crispness I the air, and even though I knew autumn wasn't quite here just yet, I couldn't help but to hum this song most everywhere I went. We obviously we had to do a cover of it.

The tiny bit of flamenco (Asturias) when the lyrics touched on castles of Spain was clever and well-played!

It is influenced by flamenco, but it's not really flamenco per se. It's a classical guitar prelude which was actually originally written for piano.

I first encountered Allison Young because of following the Josh Turner Guitar channel. I've been a fan ever since.
If Ella Fitzgerald were alive today she'd give you both a big hug and say thank you so much for carrying on an American tradition of beautiful music so beautifully. The combination of Allison's voice and Josh's familiar chords just send chills through me. This is perfection.

One of my favorite autumn songs, Allison! Loved to actually be walking through the city recently and humming that tune. So glad you found Josh to create that wonderful version of the song. Your voices are superb and with Josh's, lush arrangement, WOW! (next visit to NYC use Google maps and tap the map icon on top, find the transit map and click it. it will then overlay the borough you're in with all the subways and the stations)
This only having 474k views, while there are towel folding ASMR videos with millions, is a sad indictment on social media. Both performers are super talented, just lovely.
So nice to listen to a young voice that does NOT sound like every other voice out there these days. None of the nasal, wandering tones that it seems are the new norm. Is it too much to want to hear quality vocals that can stay on a given note but also be able to slide around when the lyrics/music fit? Love the classic tones of your music. Excellent guitar work also.
