    Note: For my "Accidental Version": Use pumpkin pie mix instead of the pumpkin puree if you like. Also, you could use a sugar free cake mix if desired. I used a box mix from Aldi for $.85. :)

    This channel was created to not only document this amazing journey, but to encourage anyone I possibly can! There is hope! You are not too far gone! You are not too old! You are not too menopausal! If you want to change, you can do it!
    Subscribe and follow along this incredible transformation! I haven't felt this good in years! I am never hungry. There are always foods that I can eat, day or night. No special foods required. Just lots of fresh goodness! It's all about choices. What do you want your future to look like? Do you want to steer as far from sickness and disease as possible? Start eating healthy and move more than you did yesterday! Walking is enough! Just move.
    I pray that you will find hope in my journey. What once seemed impossible for me is now becoming a reality! And, boy, does it feel awesome!!! Life changing!
    Still have a ways to go, but victory is within my sight!! I've come too far to go back now. I know it is not only possible, but I am armed with a sure fire plan! There is power in planning! Here's to the next 40 pounds! In it to win it!!!

    Hello Amber, I enjoyed your chat today. I wish we had the temps that you have. I find It too cold in the 60 especially if the sun is not shining. I agree sleep is very important. I notice the days that I sleep better I actually lose a little . 💕NonnaGrace

      Hi, Nonna! 😃 Thank you! Yes, 60 degrees does seem cold. Yes, there’s definitely a sleep/weight loss connection! I talked about the hormone balance of ghrelin and leptin during sleep in a previous video. When we get adequate sleep, we produce more leptin which keeps hunger in balance. When we don’t, ghrelin hormones actually make us more hungry, which is why we tend to gain weight with insufficient rest. Yet another reason to get more sleep! 💗💕 Have a blessed week!

    I will make sleep a priority this week. I’ve Been slipping a little and going to bed a little later than usual lately. So back to bed earlier this week. I’m also constantly working on my sugar addiction. That’s a tough one for me. Great work last week.

      Good for you!! Sleep is so foundational. I know I feel better when I get to bed earlier! Yes, the sugar struggles are real! You know, I read somewhere that the reason menopausal women crave sugar is it mimics estrogen, which is probably yet another reason why it feeds cancer as well. I have to remind myself that sugar also depresses the immune system, so that's not good either. ;) Have a blessed week, Marilyn! Thank you so much! Here's to a healthy and wonderful week ahead!
