Thank you Peter, thank you for speaking up to help others and educate them on this illness. Thank you for being brave, I commended you for stepping out of your comfort zone, putting yourself and real emotions out there even when you are in the middle of struggling with this illness and the sadness it brings. I am always available If you need a friend to talk to when it hits. I agree that it is so important that we break the stigmas associated with mental health. And you are helping to educate people on this topic. 👏 I am so proud and feel incredibly lucky to have you as a Manager. Depression is not a weakness, it is certainly an illness that doesn't discriminate. I have seen some of the strongest, most amazing of people have the unfortunate experience of having to live with this illness. 😕 We are all learning more about it every year and in the meantime we will learn how to manage it as best as possible and support those living with it but also to accept they may not ever be healed but we can be there for them when they need us. I am a sister who has suffered depression a few times in my life and although I'm in a good place now, I am still the support person of two of my siblings who are still living with this illness.
I genuinely appreciate your videos and the immense contribution you bring to the community. It's truly commendable that you're addressing personal (but shared!) challenges so openly. I've personally struggled and continue to battle with similar issues, which is why it's incredibly important for voices like yours to keep the conversation going. The more we discuss and support each other, the stronger we become in my opinion.
Ive just been sitting in the evening tiime after my wife and kids have gone up . Just having that me time. Ive already had an entire bag off toffees to myself. I was watching your videos earlier , chosen randomly because they cover the current cert i am working on . So when i opened up youtube this evening this video popped up . I do wonder how many people there are out there that feel just like this. I keep myself busy and when i cant i get low especially at this time of the year. I do find it hard to talk to people though , I couldnt see myself talking about it to anyone at work or home . I just feel like i have responsibilities there to deal with. Anyway thanks for sharing . It makes me feel less alone knowing other people go through these things also.
Thank you so much, and thank you for sharing. Life can be hard right!! Have you talked with anyone about how you feel - like a counsellor? It can help so much!
51 ... you are young 😁... I'm 60 🎅 and to feel better = Eating heatlhy +Fitness + walking + meeting positive people, take negatives out + spend quality time with Family + have a pet ... and disable CEO MFA 🤣... You are doing just great 🤩... keep it coming ;)
