- This tutorial covers the basics on how to use Android on a Samsung Galaxy S3, and other similar Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S5,and Samsung Galaxy S6. This tutorial will cover the following and more. Unlocking the phone, making phone calls, sending text messages, accessing the internet, editing the home screens, adding contacts, installing new apps and widgets with the google play store, task manager, and the Quick Settings and Notification menu. This tutorial uses the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone running Android Jelly Bean version 4.3. This should be the same for other galaxy phones and similar for other android phones.

I'm tech savvy, but will watch all your videos for my mother. I don't mind going through all the minutes, call it a refreshment lol.This is for people who is not tech savvy or smart phone savvy, great great tutorial. I must show your videos to my mother, hopefully she'll learn something new. I'm not patient in showing these basic things to her repeatedly.

Thanks for the tutorial. I use my android only for making calls. No apps for the internet or my email. I'm aware that the NSA, FBI and local law enforcement knows where I am even when my phone is shut off. So when I travel, I remove the battery. That way no one knows where I am. It also saves on battery usage because even when you turn it off, the battery is still running. Sometimes, I'll put the phone in the fridge, that way it uses less power.

Thank you, just one question, I have a samsung GT-18160 , Sorry not sure what galaxy model this would be as it doesn't say on my phone. can you tell me how i can delete the calls log on this phone, there are hundreds of them and the only way i can delete them is 1 at a time which will take forever, is there any way to delete all on this phone. it does not give this option for some reason. thank you.
