Imagine if the last of us tried to appeal to kids as well, suddenly you have to take out a bunch of the things that give the game its personality

Hellblade 2 enjoys the best of new gen with fast ssd loads and alteration of structures in real time on enviroment as well as passage of scenes in real time with no loading. They made it clear in a statement years ago that they have no intention to make games like that ever again. They should lose the license and sell it to a third party developer.
