I'm a big fan of the Kaha 2. feels crazy how durable these are. I've had a bunch of brands before, my favs used to be Meindls, but because one of my foot steps a bit crooked, the sole would always go thin on 1 side of 1 foot within months. I've had these Kaha 2 for a year and half, wear them often and they hold up perfectly. Especially with the all black colorway, you wash them and they look brand new still. Also have the lows (which I don't love as much for some reason) and just bought 2nd pair of these
I work on concrete in a wet environment with chemicals. Been researching the Anacapa mid GTX. Your honest review was very helpful. Thank you. Been wearing Salomon GTX boots and they’ve started to fail. Was going to get another pair of Salomon but I believe I’ll give Hoka a try. Thanks again.
I’ve got a pair of Hoka shoes that have lasted for me real well. Super comfortable for walking. Size 15, I’m 255lbs so these have been beat up pretty good. Great urban kicks and definitely interested in the boots.
Anyone who purchases Hoka should go directly to their local fitness store in the event you ever have to do a return.. Dealing with them when you have an issue is absolutely abysmal. They honor their product for up to a year that's about the only plus. If you ever have to return something be prepared to wait. They provide you with a return shipping label which does not track the order beyond acceptance at your post office (even though it has a trackinh number) You have to call in each time as they are able to see it on their end. It's been almost 16 days and it hasn't even reached their warehouse yet and then you have to wait another 10-15 days for. them to process the return. This would never happen with any other shoe company.
That's good to know. I haven't had to return anything yet but after reading this I'll make sure to purchase in store when available. Truly appreciate the information about this and thank you for checking out the video.
I loved those too. I’ve got the 2nd generation of them now. I do commercial hvac and they do hold up well.

Visually I think the Kaha 2 is the boot that might be it’s successor, nice review btw. Waiting on a pair of Anacapa mid boots to arrive.
