I tried them on today and found them surprisingly slippery on the store's flat floor. You also mention that the shoes were slippery on wet granite. Are these shoes slippery on wet asphalt or other smooth city surfaces? I'd be primarily using it as an all rounder os it would have to be suitable for rainy city conditions as well and I'm not confident it could do that. Thanks.
Thanks for your review! I was looking into these shoes or the kaha to use on a week long hike with backpack early January in Kenya (hot, usually no rain) however I doubt they are breathable enough. Any advice on shoes to look for without gore tex in mid height and good support? Thanks!
Ugh. Tried to like these. Toe box is just too narrow. Just spent $185, and have to retire them after 2 hikes because they are destroying my big toes in hikes longer than 5 miles. NOTE: I even ordered 1 size larger than my typical shoe size to account for rough, technical ascents, to no avail.
Toebox is too narrow. Why can't they make a hiking shoe which has some space for big toe to spread while walking? It is not natural for toes to be all squeezed together.
Very comfortable but mine leak in water just walking in the rain on a path for 40 minutes I.e. not walking through puddles. Disappointing for how much I paid.
Everything cool with your review But if you have wide width forget about this shoes. Also the mid section on the sole there’s no rubber reinforced if you step on something sharp the mid section is gone.
Does anybody know a manufacturer who make light weight hiking shoe with natural shaped toebox? With a little bit more space for the big toe to spread while walking? I really liked Adidas Free Hiker gtx version 1. Unfortunatelly they made the toebox narrower for the version 2 so there went that.
I bought some, I’m normally a 10, went for a 10.5 as I have wide (ish) feet and found these to be very narrow, so this review is the only one on RUclips that got this right. Thanks.
@@Joe-oj4rh I just bought it in 7 cm, it seems that right now they fit just the big toe, I hope with time they will adjust since I have a thin foot, the 7.5 would be super, however I think that with time they will loosen.
Your reviews are 10/10.
I just happened to get a Anacapa advertisement that I found enjoyable and landed here. Thanks for the info.

Please, can you give us an answer??

Just looking for everyday use ... planning to do a lot of walking.

Kaha are a wider in the toes
Do you think this would be fine for Sedona ? Like analope canyon and cathedral rock type things nothing to extreme? TY in advance
Thx for the review, just ordered them !

So they are have to be run small?
So they don’t come wide sizes
the Kaha are a bit wider in the toe box
One-One or O-ne O-ne ?
Is it waterproof all the way up or just where it was being sprayed? Would they be good for snow and cold?
Kaha seems better for winter. Anakapa are very thin in a lot of places, mainly toes and sides
@@raulferia1516do you have a link for the Kaha’s?
Does anyone know the difference between these and the kaha’s?
Kahas have a very cushioned midsole modern and supportive design and offers better protection to your toes, kind of an armour
Everything cool with your review

Right, but it can be your toes too

I like them, been looking for some Elven boots of bavonary,
Boleh kah saya memiliki sepatu tersebut buat hiking,
Very light and confortable, waterproofed but hot 🔥 In summertime
Other reviews said these boots were a wide fitting. 🤔

Yeah I bought Bondi 7, Bondi 8 and Bondi SR in US9 and felt so comfortable, but anacapa it’s a bit narrow for me in the same size.
No no, they are narrow to balance the poor front thin material's support
Nice review 🙂
Hoka ‘oh-nay oh-nay’.
I was gonna say the same thing 🤦🏻♂️
is it good for winter?
I don't think so
how do these compare to the KAHA?
Kaha are more cushioned and armored, these are thin
Hello, I have thin feet, my question is if they come wide or true to size, I am usually 7.5 but I don't know if this model comes wide or true to size
True to size papi

Hi
To me not true to size. I need 1,5 size bigger. Normalt 38 but go to 39,5. Dont no exactly what that is in America 😀
Nice
Cutinhalf
To describe the weight...15oz is generally the weight of a Lebron James basketball shoe.
Pretty good for a light boot
What about winter?
Just for light running no more than a pair of hours. Very thin material
