It looked like this house was double filtered. In the ceiling and at the unit. Good content though - you are constantly posting which is good. I enjoy watching.

Yes, I heard that condenser fan "grunting" as soon as you rounded the corner from the back door...Once the wire terminators were fixed, all back to good. Those filters they are using in the ceiling return are too restrictive it appears. The last tech to work on that condenser most likely did novice quality work...those solderless connectors with the insulation on them require the flat crimp while the Non-Insulated connectors require the pointed and curved crimp...reason is the pointed crimp exposes the wire and the terminal which allows for oxidation and green pus or crusties as many call it.
Good call on the temps, reading and superheat needs...8 to 10 is about where they all need to be from my observation. Even though customer only want gas and go, the job HAD TO have those electrical and Schrader valve repairs. Owner saved a bunch of money having it done on this trip vs. a second one.

@@WWHVAC Yessiree....but there's a little bit of class needed when customers see your tool bag etc. The Veto shows way better. Maybe get another Veto, a smaller one and stock it up with just the basic needs for a service call and the other one for a full diagnostic and repair need.
