Thanks for watching. We love it up there! So much we are thinking of relocating. Do you live near the bearskin? Or have any other trails you’d recommend in Wisconsin?
Nice trail,I rode it twice last year on my biking vacations. I found one better 30 minutes north of there. The Manitowish Waters bike trail is outstanding. It is all paved and part of the 52 mile Heart of Vilas county system. It is the best trail that I have ever ridden,I highly recommend it.
@@Trailvagabonds There are two great videos on you tube showing how awesome this trail is that made me want to come up north and ride it. The title for the video is "Ice VTX Trike on Vilas county trail system. There is also another video going the opposite direction.
We'll definitely do some searching. Katie's parents bike a lot too so we will ask if they have been up there yet. We hope to put out a lot more biking videos in the future. Not sure if you saw our other two. Bikepacking Pisgah National Forest and Pocahontas State Park in Virginia
@@Trailvagabonds No,I just saw the Bearskin one. I like that slide you have in your van to store your bikes, did you build that? I have a van also, and have watched a lot of videos from people who build their own bike storage systems.Very cool and practical ideas. I am heading back up north for a week of biking in June. I can't wait to ride all 52 miles of the Heart of Vilas County trails.
@@jongolsteyn7031 that sounds like it'll be fun! I hope you have wonderful weather come June! Where do you live full time? As for the bike trays, yes I made those. I have a whole build series I've been making while building out our van. It's been a fun adventure to say the least! Pretty slow process so far.
Great post!
Thank you for saying so! Thanks for watching! 😊
Beautiful trail & I liked the history facts.
Thank you! I wonder how beautiful it is on snow mobile in the winter? I'm glad you liked the facts, I enjoyed presenting what I learned about it
Beautiful ride! Got lucky with that weather!! Also, love the music!!
Thanks man! 😎

Fun! Well have fun if you make it up there!
Harshaw trestle is the longest on the trail at 748 feet long
Thanks for the info! I didn’t know the names. Do you live in the area?
Yes near by and use the southern part of the trail more often! The observation deck is no longer there unfortunately
@@davedaggit8162 nice! We’ll be staying with Katie’s parents in Tomahawk for a bit. Let me know if you’d want to get out for a ride!

It such a fun activity! You can cover a lot of ground and see so much! We were so lucky with the weather!
