  • Had an unexpected overnight camp, when my Jeep got badly stuck in a mudhole. I was exploring an old long fire trail to try and reach the river, when my day turned on its head as I sank into the bog. Wasn’t paying enough attention to the trail! Fought with it for over 4 hours, then decided to camp and work it out the next day. Thankfully a local farmer was able to help, and with his know-how, we got it out pretty easily.
Happy New Year for 2021, I hope you all stay well and healthy.
    Thank you for watching.

Thanks Neighbour Charley. Nice video mate. I’d be investing in a hand which mate. I bet it was very unexpected to be that boggy on the side of a hill. Glad it turned out OK for you. Loved that river. Looked awesome. You have a nice property.

Thanks for the video. You stayed super calm, I would have been cranky at the end! Getting bogged is a pain.

Thanks mate - amazing how much swearing you can edit out. I was more annoyed with myself than anything else, but just have to get on with it, try to solve the problem. I certainly learnt some good lessons.

I was bogged to the axles, but on a downhill slope, so we used chains and his 4x4 to drag me out forwards, then find a path out around the boggy bits.
