  • Clearing an access track to open up a new area of our bushland. I’ve walked into this area a few times, and now wanted to clear a way in for a 4x4 vehicle, to reach deeper into the natural Aussie bush.
    I also dedicated this video to Nagualero - a great inspiration to me, who sadly passed away in January 2022. His family are keeping his channel going, and I encourage you to go and check it out - I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

    Also, shoutout to Chris Bamman, a great aussie adventure youtuber.
    Thank you for watching.

    I enjoyed this video! Also a fan of Nagualero, so sad when I heard he was gone. But also because my Dad was born and raised in NSW and I can imagine him as a young lad in that exact environment. Thanks!

    Could have killed 2 birds with one stone at 13 mins. The tree limbs etc that you were cutting you should have piled up together for this winters fire wood and you can drive straight to it, and by the way it looked like good seasoned stuff. Iron Bark possibley? Your doing a great job down there and I like seeing the way you do things as sometimes you can pick up little bits and pieces of knowledge when your actually watching it not looking in a book. keep the vids coming!!!

      Thanks Scott! Yes I did think of the firewood, but was unsure of my timescale that day. I did leave it all roughly piled up on the left, so can easily get to it again.

    Hows this for coincidences, I just stumbled across your channel and a few things struck me. I'm from NSW, I also play bass and follow Dave Reume from Dave's World Of Fun Stuff, I did follow Nagualero, my first 4wd was a Patrol, I currently live in the NT and have just scored a job in Merredin WA. Subbed and enjoying your content.

    Great video, really enjoy your stuff. Makes me wish I was out there not in Sydney to be honest. Do you let people camp and fish on your property at all ? Would love to spend a night or two there camping next to my old prado and fly fishing for the carp I've seen you catching in the creeks and some night photography as well. Thanks for putting these videos out, love them.
    Cheers Tone.

      G'day Tone, thanks for the great comments. Do we let people camp and fish? I'm sorry, no we don't. Much of the property is a working grazing farm, and these areas of bush are used by my co-owners for hunting. There are great campgrounds in the Abercrombie National Park that might work for you.

      @@TaralgaBushAdventure Mate thanks for the reply, I'm going to head out there for sure but packed campgrounds leave me cold. C'mon winter and I may find the solitude in the N.P. really looks a beautiful area. A mate of mine has a small cattle property near the Watagans and I love to go there...unfortunately though there is no fishing to be had. Had more friends with a farm out the back of Bathurst as well that was on the Campbells river but they sold the farm a year or so back. Was a wonderful place to get away from the rat race in the smoke. All the best and keep those videos coming...they are great for incentive. Take care man.

      @TaralgaBushAdventure  2 года назад +1

      G'day Cess. I got it at a surplus and camping store in Paramatta Sydney. It's an Akubra 'Coober Pedy' size 60 in Olive green I think, not sure of the colour.

      @@TaralgaBushAdventure Thank you so much I would love to buy this hat but they are not cheap here in Germany.

      They're not cheap here either! :-P
      But they will last for many many years if cared for right.
