  • Watch me install replacement front seats on a budget.
The Nissan Patrol is a great offroad vehicle, but the original front seats don’t give much support and I’m sliding around when driving bush trails. Most people seem to update their front seats with ones out of a Commodore or Ford Falcon XR, and there are adaptor kits available to help mount them. But a set of seats and the kit could put you back over $500 - $600 dollars. I found a set a free seats out of a Hyundai i40, modern and comfortable, but a little dirty. I cleaned them up, then used the original seat mount brackets and adapted them to fit the new seats. Worked out great!
    Thank you for watching.

Nice score. I took OUT all the seats in my Paj! The front Paj seats are pretty good!

Well done with the score of the seats for free. Did you you find any goodies under the seat? The cleaning looked to work well too, heaps cleaner and probably smell good , but one thing ,did you mount the slides for forwards and backwards to the new seat or you the only driver and they are fixed. All looked good and saved some cash to spend on other things. Well done again!!!

The seats slide forward and back like normal, tho the driver's side is more forward than the drinker's side.
