Leroy Clark - imagine that. A triple AAA release in 2019. Even though it’s a re-release it’s amazing. I’m so sick and tired of these “games as a service” releases that we typically get shoved down our necks!! I’ve got my physic copy coming on release day from Amazon baby!

Good game. I liked the second one more. I agree with others that this should have been released as 1 and 2 combo pack.
I agree with you just how they did it with Bayonetta, Mega-Man.
I liked 1 for the simple gameplay I like 2 for the open-world feel 3 f***** it up
Yeah BUT most of the combo packs come with one physical and one download....NO THANKS.
All the older ports look awesome like Bioshock and Borderlands but they don't tell you they ain't all physical copies.
I like actually owning my games if I pay money owning the box and cartridge is part of the deal.
I guess I'm just old-school like that.
This port actually moved itself up to my top5 favorite switch games. Im 12 hours in and I know im near the end, but man the journey has been pretty fun and satisfying. I've always started playing playing this back on PC and my laptop but as a parent, never really got to finishing it, and the switch's portability allowed me to get deeper into this game and really appreciate how good it is.
Also, War is still one of the most badass game characters ever made. (Cant count how many times i've said this since the first time i got my hands on a Darksiders game. LOL)
I never played this game before and decided to grab it for my switch, definitely glad I did. Awesome game, I can't believe I never played this before now. It was actually pretty hard to find a physical copy. My gamestop or wal mart didn't have it, but luckily game stop was able to find a copy at a different store so I had to wait 3 days for it to come in. Hopefully part 2 gets a release as I had actually heard something about that. Love the video's you do. Keep em coming.

Yeah nice review, but if I hear GoW one more time... Hope that isn't your only reference besides Bayonetta, if so Dante's Inferno, Castlevania: Lords of Shadows, Asura's Wrath and one of my favs Knight's Contract might be Action-Adventures/Hack'n'Slashs you might also look into. Cheers!
This is a good game but $30 for the digital edition seems a bit steep in my opinion. I'll definitely get it whenever it goes on sale though!

Crazy how this game suffers from the Nintendo Switch Tax, as the ps4 version "warmastered edition" of the game is only $19.99
The first got was released in 2010. NINE YEARS AGO. I would not recommend to play full price for this game, except if you are a big fan of the Darksiders franchise.
It's on sale in Europe at the moment. -20% which makes 23.99€ instead of 29.99€.

When I watch a review I don’t want a number out of a number kinda review which I think is a rigid way of “rating” a game as people like and dislike different things. This is straight up so hands-on and shows me what I’ll be doing through the game and what I’ll enjoy or what. You were vague enough with the story that I want to know more about it! I have already played the game and beat it like 2-4 times on pc and Xbox haha. I loved the style of this review and would wholesomely enjoy more of it !! You’re doing great bro! Yeah, there are so many interesting switch games out there. A lot of them.
Honestly this style of video does more than a review ever could. Maybe have multiple save points throughout the game or multiple recordings stitched together to show progression
Watching this 2 year later... new to Switch and Action RPG. Starting with this one. The video sold me, I was in between a couple but this was awesome
RGT please keep doing these types of reviews. I always look for you to do them and sometimes you don’t. I understand why you might want to pass if you get the game late but I like watching you do them.

Great lets play RGT 85. Darksiders 2 on the WiiU using the Gamepad i've gotta say is my fave Darksiders game but Darksiders Warmastered Edition is most definitely worth checking out guys on the Switch. Check Darksiders 2 on the WiiU RGT 85 if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.
I haven't had the chance to play any of the Darksiders games yet but after seeing all the great reviews for this game I'm definitely excited to get into it. 👍
Too much puzzle elements that was uncall for, way to much just to fight. Plus another annoyance of this game is theres no boss meter to let you know how you are progressing in the fight.
They should have bundled 1 and 2
And tell everyone 3 is under devloppment. Now it feels like theyre trying to cash in the wiiu port mistake.

I cant figure out why people didn't like DS3, I loved it...the controls were a little weird and I wish I could have changed those, but I started playing with mouse and keyboard and I LOVED it after that. It was so much fun!

It’s an amazing series
I have played this game on PS3, PS4, and I'll gladly play it again on Switch. It's a fun game! Each game in the series plays slightly different because you are a different horseman of the apocalypse in each game. I still think the first game is my favorite in the series, but overall I have liked each game on some level. I hope the 3rd one did well enough to warrant a 4th game because it was meant to have 4 separate entries in the series.

Darksiders 1 is great. 2 is a very different style of game with more RPG elements but still a great game. And 3 is also great and a very different style of game, however it is defiantly a victim of the closure of the original THQ. It had a smaller team, smaller budget and as such it doesn't have the polish the other 2 have. Hopefully they will all come to the switch.
The puzzle elements get better and harder throughout the game. There’s even a portal style gameplay later on.
I love videos like this. This shows people how the games really play and gives you a feel for how the game runs. Yeah, I'm not familiar with the series but I'll definitely be checking it out.

Yo...the Darksiders franchise is my absolute favorite! I have all 3 games, along with all the books, statues, guides, soundtracks, etc. I even picked up this game on the Switch because I wanted it on-the-go. I'm so looking forward to Darksiders 2 coming to the switch as it's my favorite game, it's so good! Please do yourself a favor and play it, it's a gem. The atmosphere, worlds, and bosses are so badass! You are truly missing out if you've never played this franchise!

I bought 2 - to test out my experience with it & for playing them on a Nswitch, I was slightly impressed albeit it’s no PC,or PS4/5 performance
I loved the Darksiders games when they first dropped. I also loved Kingdoms of Almalur. Literally my absolute favorite games OF ALL TIME. THQNordic has ressurected one and is working on the other. They have easily become my favorite current game developers.

And it gets better and better and better, until the apex at the end. It's an amazing game, the real Zelda of the 7th gen.
I assure you, once you'll finish it, you will look up for the final credits ost and listen to it remembering the great adventure you had.

Hey RGT85! Hey Shawn! Darksiders is easily one of the more underrated video game series. It pays tribute to different elements of other games while having an awesome story. Glad to see you enjoying it. Would like to know your thoughts on the 2nd and 3rd when you get there.

There’s a huge difference in frame rate going into performance mode. I prefer smooth gameplay than graphics plus the art direction is great even for an old game that’s aged well
I'm actually new to the Darksiders franchise even though I've been a gamer my whole life. Guess I just never got around to it lol. But after watching this video I instantly purchased it! Looks similar to GOW like you said which I'll always be a fan of GOW. Thanks for the great video!
RGT 85, I've heard you use the Old English word orientated many times. Do you prefer this word to the modern word oriented which is usually used in it's place? Also, while we are at it, do you ignore all your fans, or just me?

Darksiders was a great game. However, the fact that it's a remaster, and the fact that Hellblade comes out a week later for $30 too makes me think Darksiders doesn't have much of a chance. Not sure why Ninja Theory thought now was the right time to release. I'll end up getting Hellblade on release, but I can't justify double dipping on Darksiders right now. Can't help wondering if I would have double dipped if Hellblade was coming out next month instead.
Darksiders and Darksiders 2 are hidden gems from the last gen, hope they continue to make games in this universe, Darksiders 3 was not bad but not on the level of 1 and 2.
Just brought it for the switch haven't played much of this game in the past can't wait

I'm traveling to Germany for study abroad to finish my degree in May and will definitely try to get this if for whatever miracle it goes on sale before my trip. Would love to play this on the plane!

Got it on PC very cheap. They delayed it for ages on WiiU and asked full price. Then comes to Switch, full price and 3 isn't coming. I'll just stick to overdiscounted pc versions.
3 should be able to work with some downgrades. It’s not as demanding as other games that people want on Switch.
That full price being $19.99....
in terms of 3 being different, all 4 games play differently, some subtle changes and major changes between each game. Not really a bad thing though you are playing entirely different characters in each game.
I think id like 2 and 3 more one the go but THQ get on thoose ports man this are the best kind of Games for switch. single player off line with loads of stuff to do. Now all I wish for is Republic commando and Dishonoured

Big fan of the series. I played both on the X360 and enjoyed them a lot. The second one introduces more elements and it's pretty good, although people seem to think otherwise. But, yeah, now that it's on Switch I might pick it up eventually, especially since at some point I traded my OG copy of Darksiders.

Try Darksiders 2 on WiiU m8!!!!! I just got it actually and its great. Probably the best game I've played on the WiiU. Freakn loving it. Although maybe on PS3 and 360 u may get a better quality experience but if u just played 1 on the Switch who knows WiiU might b a good transition.

People bitching about the price. Think smart not hard. Games like these I wait a few months to get. Went into Gamers HQ today and low and behold there it was used for $12.99
I do this often. 1st party games don't go down in price often but these 3rd party ones do. I picked up RE 0 for $14.99 used, Mario vs Rabbids $14.99 used, Darksiders $12.99 used and Just Dance 2018 for my daughter for $9. I spent $59.99 for 4 games just because I waited a little longer. It works

Get the deathfinitive edition of 2 on xbox 1 or ps4. The draw distance is way better, and runs nicer than 360. Also the loot was rebalance and includes dlc.
Looks awesome! I also heard THQ Nordic bought the license to Kingdom of Amalur which if that true then I would love to see it get ported to the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One so many people could try it.

I picked up dark side two just looking for good rpg I was not disappointed with it the worlds and the graphics were amazing Definitely get this one
You want to use the scythe to defeat him dont use the sword on him also scythe is required its a must need sorry ive been playing this series since xbox 360

Played the remaster 2 on Wii U & it's ok but I really don't see where this Zelda game type comes into the game.
Basically the Temples\Puzzle side of it is similar to Zelda, combat is more like DMC or GoW
