  • This is The Queen of the Night's first aria "O zittre nicht" in Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute. You get a point if you knew what that high note was. ☝🏼🤓 #operasingers #queenofthenight #sing #femalesinger #singers #singers #classicalmusician #operasinger

    Good effort, though you were off pitch several times. You should listen to Joan Sutherland sing this. And this is the Queen of the Night's first aria, by the way. This is O Zittre Nicht, the second aria is the one most frequently associated with the role, Der Holle Rach her Kocht in Meinem Herzen. The coloratura is far more difficult in my opinion which is why the vast majority of sopranos sing the second aria and chose not to attempt this one because of the extreme level of vocal flexibility required.

      It’s not. this passages are much easier for many coloraturas than passage in “alle bande” with triplets. Even popular and great singers like Diana Damrau can’t do this passage perfect.
      For sure, in order to sing both of these arias at a high level, you need to have a dense middle register, and not just passage technique and f6, which is very rare for many modern coloratura singers. 😊

      This is not pop singing. In opera opening your mouth for more space is extremely crucial especially on those higher notes.
      In pop such a huge space might not be as crucial since your singing is mic-ed, but in opera it is important since you need to maximize your resonance to the fullest.

    • @lajovensoprano6849
      @lajovensoprano6849 11 месяцев назад +1

      De hecho, en la técnica de ópera te enseñan a proyectar y alcanzar los sonidos con éxito sin necesidad de abrir esa bocota. El impulso y fuerza del sonido se apoya en el abdomen y en la respiración desde el diafragma, independientemente de cuánto abras la boca. Mucha gente piensa que mientras más abran la boca mejor resuena, por eso siempre están estas caricaturas estereotípicas de las sopranos trompudas JAJAJA pero a veces es hasta contraproducente abrir tanto la boca porque manipula y altera la calidad y pureza del sonido. Obviamente se necesita abrir más la boca en ciertas partes, es natural, pero por lo general es un movimiento ligero y estratégico.
