The more and more you guys add, the more this feels like a living sci-fi book
For real. It can hold powerful nostalgia all while being naturally unfamiliar and exciting if you’ve been gone long enough.
I recently got it from a used-game shop. I was mesmerized with the visuals and writing to go along with it. I really does feel like like a big, living sci-fi book, being able to fully visualize all the crazy sci-fi explanations you once had to picture in your head.
I remember that my friends and I were mega hyped for the release, but none of us ended up buying it. I now bought this game 2 days ago and I have sunken so many hours in already. The game now easily exceedes everything that was initially promised, yet I really hope they keep on developing it. I'll even pay some sort of dlc price, if they can then keep on doing what they are doing.
This game reminds me heavily of those Terran Trade Authority books, if you know what those are.
I'm not sure if you guys read comments, but if you do, I'd like to thank you for never giving up on NMS. It is genuinely such an honor to have such a fantastic game continuously get more expansive as time goes on, especially considering these updates are all free. It takes a special passion to work so hard on something that isn't going to generate income on its own, which just comes to show how much you guys care about the experience itself. Thank you all!
These guys are not only dedicated, but also very smart. NMS is selling on all platforms. I think every gamer on this planet owns now a copy of NMS, and new gamers will buy a copy soon, because of the great reputation and endless update circle of the game. This game gets never old and is always up to date, also in VR. I love it!

@@Red_dead_Redemption_4_Life I play on PC with highest graphic settings. I think on a PS4 it doesn't look this good and I don't know how it runs.
Okey... now i really do hope this game will live for so long. This feels like minecraft in a way. Devs giving the players constant updates with so many improvements and big content drops. I hope they will keep this up! Probably best devs out there!

@Mistery Misterio They made a lot of money at launch and since the dev team is not super large I'm guessing that makes things a lot easier. Plus people have only continued to buy more copies as time has gone on

I've been playing this game since it launched, and Hello Games have been doing above and beyond what I initially thought I would be content with, bravo to Sean and the whole crew at HG I love you guys.
Glad to see you're working on the image quality on PSVR2. I think it could be one of the greatest VR experiences in existence if the clarity can be brought closer to other VR2 games. Even in its current state I was having fun.

As someone who pre-ordered the game on PC, I am glad to say that I've stuck by HG this entire time. They've come so far and fulfilled every promise they made. Well done HG, amazing job!
Also, the ship that the character is in at 0:35 is named as a golden vector.... That seems strange & out of place...
they haven't done everything such as landing on asteroids. But they have implemented far more unpromised things then promised. So its kind of a mute point (:

Not gonna lie, every update leaves me close to tears, this is so reassuring that game development studios can have everlasting love for their creations, keep expanding and suprise in a good way. All the love from fellow Traveller
its quite crazy. its hard to see myself working on something for so long without burnout or wanting to do something else. There sure is a lot of passion.
7 years. I was obsessed with NMS for nearly a year before it launched. Watching every preview, interview, really obsessed. When the game launched, I spent 90+ hours playing and while I did enjoy myself it was not quite what I expected. Hell I was so inspired by Sean Murray that I tried taking up coding by using Ruby on Rails for a few months. Was not anything I had true interest in and I went on to other interests and hobbies... but that is the impact this game and its creators had on me. Now 7 years later, I without a shadow of a doubt know that the passion and love that I recognized in Sean Murray before the game launched, holds truer than ever today. You are more than a video game creator. Thank you.

It's a whole new ship class, like the solar sail ships we got with the Outlaws update
- this isn't an expedition (though I'm sure there will be an accompanying one)
