With the Fed printing as much money in the past 3 Years as was created from 1792 to 2019 COMBINED I cannot see how this is going to end well when the US has to continue deficit spending the way it is and there are less and less buyers for each US Treasuries auction?
A law to force pension plans to buy treasuries is the next step.
@@kenneth3558 Maybe your right, i think retail Banks are _obliged_ to buy a certain percentage as is if there are no other takers. Could Washington force the IMF to buy them seen as how its a US tool anyway its such a wacky world we live in.

Sasha - you will not like me for saying this but I work in U.K. construction and the conditions have never been worse. We had a mild recession/stagnation 6 months ago due to the nature of inflation itself (exploding costs cause liquidity crisis for anyone on fixed price contracts). LOR (the worlds biggest private equity contractor) just posted losses of £288m and all of this is before the full force of increasing interest payments have even hit too. You are right to say nobody knows when the next crash will come, but in the end stock prices always follow earnings and it is looking really tough out there for businesses to maintain good earnings. This years general rise in stock prices feels like a dead cat bounce to me.
You will get a turnaround. Once AI setups start replacing everyone in office work, data analysis, marketing, journalism, etc, field work like construction will be in higher demand.
The robots required to replace you will cost a lottt more than just some computers and a language model.
The UK is screwed and Sasha makes videos about that. This one is about the American market, noticed he used S&P?

holding at 5% would make sense for 2024...however, expect a .25 decrease at least due to 2024 being an election year...fundamentally, expect more manufacturing to come back onshore in 2024...benefitting the industrials.
