The way Brooke reacted to Stephanie’s ultimatum, you can tell she didn’t like her odds. 😆
She's wondering if this will extend to her and really mean the loss of her access to Ridge 😂
But I have to say.. How is this going to work when they all have to be in the office together tmrw 😂
What Thorne should have said when Brooke asked what she could do... Was ask her to give back her stock the family and let them go away together and build a life together somewhere else.
See how fast Brooke's feelings for Thorne evaporate.
@@TriniT21 Speaking of the stock, remember how Thorne was literally the last to find out about the Belief patent issue? Even Brooke and Sheila found out before he did. 😆
@@NewYorkNick0607 right.. Neither Brooke nor his family bothered to tell him 😂
@@TriniT21Finally Stephanie has found a way to ward off Brook from her parties, dinners, pool, guest house, house.
@TriniT21 she was willing to do it for ridge....and according to brooke her feelings for thorne are a thousand times what she felt for thorne
Brooke : Stephanie, you look well.. " with a twinge of disappointment 😂
Haha, we had the same thought! 😂
@@annieo6527 yes. Lololol
Brooke's outfit makes her look like one of the lost boys from Peter Pan.
I thought of a crumpled paper bag... Must be from Brooke's latest collection
Everytime I read your comments my daughter thinks I'm insane... I'm in love lol
Damn for all of what Thorne gave up for Brooke just for Stephanie and Macy to be proven RIGHT
How were they proven right?
@@marypeter5161 Brooke admitting that Ridge was her soulmate all along.
@@marypeter5161 She left him because she admitted that she was still in love with Ridge, which is the same thing Macy, Eric and Stephanie were warning him about
@@ashleynicole2431he left her because he heard her say that to decin. But 24 hours later brooke was trung to get ridge
Poor Darla has always wanted to be Sally's daughter but she keeps getting reminded by Macy than she's not really family. Macy pointedly referred to her in the will as “my dear FRIEND” and then twisted the knife with “my one and only sister Kimberly.” And she did this in life too: when Macy married Thorne, she chose dopey Jessica as her maid of honor with Darla sitting right there! Macy and Darla don't really have a "sister" feud but instead there's this ongoing subtle attempt by Macy to put Darla in her place. In a way, Darla is like the Thorne of the Spectra gang and Macy is the Ridge.
Yes, I remember your post about this a while ago! There is a clear status difference between Darla and Sally's _actual_ children. Now even Kimberly is more of a Spectra child than Darla is. And Darla never really tries to move up in the hierarchy either - she just happily accepts her place as "almost family".
I do think Macy addressed the will to the different people in a way that reflected their relationships - she was encouraging CJ to be productive, comforting Kimberly, and joking with Darla.
Great observations!
@@annieo6527yeah I think Darla was content with her place.
But wouldn't it have been an interesting story if Darla did want more of a place on the Spectra totem pole?
Note too how Sally pauses on, "To my loving... _friend_ Darla." (10:44) That line reading makes it sound like a demotion. And then "my one and _only sister_ Kimberly" really rubs it in. I mean, she didn't describe CJ as her one and only brother.
@@NewYorkNick0607yes - it reminds me of when Sally was pregnant with CJ and they talked about Macy becoming a big sister, and Darla said "what am I going to be?" and Sally said Darla was going to be a very close friend.
And in the 2003 storyline where Darla sleeps with Thorne, Sally fires her with the motivation "you hurt _my child"_ (after previously in the storyline saying she always thought of Darla and Macy as sisters).
It was only after Macy's second death and Aly's birth that Darla was "promoted" to daughter status by Sally giving her a pair of earrings that belonged to Macy.
I do think however that there may have been a reason for Macy giving Kimberly this kind of special attention (and by giving her "a sister's love" basically moving Dead Macy into the house with Kimberly). The Spectras will always support each other, but Kimberly doesn't quite consider herself one of them (she told Thorne that Macy was her only family). So she feels alone while CJ and Darla don't, and Macy is trying to compensate for that.
Connor returns. Always a welcome sight 😍🥰🔥
I guess Connor left the Forrester's to work for the Spectra's!😂
If only he came in after before fmthinre got hos copy hooks back into macy a year or so ago. Macy would have been happier with conner. Even if theybonly lasted a few months and fozzled out. He would have been better for her than another round with thorne
@@jemekiahall5848 who wouldn't 😂
Ridge and Eric were never given that choice. They did what they wanted with no consequences.

I just made the same comment 😂😂
She really sounded disappointed to see Steph looking well lol
Is it just me or does Brooke look older in this episode? KKL was just shy of 40 here but she looks more like 50.
It's not just yo u and it's not just this episode. She's always looked 10 years older than her actual age.
People who make comments on KKLs looks must really think they are something special or they are simply jealous. She does not look nearly 50.
@@foreverinitalianjean i agree. i see a lot of comments about how old she looks and i don't get it. I wouldn't say she looked young for her age (now I would, she looks younger than 60 odd imo) but i don't think she looks 10 years older either or a different age group than macy or taylor who she's compared to.
Actually Stephanie should’ve given _Brooke_ a choice between Thorne and the Forrester family. She’d have a much better chance of breaking them up then.
True.
Thorne pretty much doesn't have that much to lose lol
Thorne did all of this for a woman who doesn’t love him
This would have been a great start to a 'Who shot Brooke?' storyline.
Brooke is wearing a paper bag.
😂😂
I made the same comment 😂😂😂😂
It literally looks like a crumpled paper bag.
She still looks hot 🔥
Someone should have told her that when we call her “an old bag,” we didn’t mean it *literally*.
@@aksbrownhot like ready to burn to burn at a stroke of a match? I can believe that
I know it was petty, but I snickered when Stephanie cut off Thorne’s speechifying after he made his decision. “You😊 made your choice, now I don’t need to waste more time on you. Boy bye.” 😂
I also enjoyed seeing how upset Brooke was at being sans the Forresters - more so than Thorne! Proves the point I made in yesterday’s episode about Stephanie’s punishment being targeted at Brooke, who craves being a Forrester.
I also laughed at that.
By that point, these are the things Steph has had it with :
1. Thorne
Steph was D-O-N-E
And totally agree about Brooke being more broken up about losing the rights to being a Forrester.
The two things she's always wanted : Ridge's love and Steph's acceptance, would now be totally unattainable. So what's the point of being married to Thorne anymore lol
Queen Stephanie was done. Miss her so much.
Look how Brooke notices the emotional backmail😂 As if she has never used it to string Ridge.
I think they should’ve done the ultimatum with Brooke, not Thorne.
Given that Thorne's always been the runt of the litter, Stephanie's ultimatum doesn't change things for him too much😂. Not being acknowledged or invited to the house is pretty normal for him.
Thorn is a fool
Ridge and Eric walking out like two puppies behind Stephanie 😂😂
Not a year later, Stephanie will turn out to be right
And Macy, Ridge, Eric...
@@babs4848 pretty much everyone except Brooke and Thorne.
Brooke always interups everything
There was a time when Ridge and Eric had a spine against Brooke.
How has Brooke remained in/involved with this family for so long? She should've been ousted YEARS ago!
The stick she has in the company. Her tow kids by eric. And she is ceo of forrester
@@songriver1232 That puts the primary blame for Brooke's presence in the family/company on Eric. 😀
OK I didn't expect Kimberley standing there behind Thorne and Brooke 😂😂😂
Thorne should prob install a privacy fence or shrubbery lol.
But i wonder, if it was so easy to just look into Thorne's place from next door, how come Macy never knew for so long that he was seeing Brooke? She was over there in plain sight... All Macy had to do was stand in her back patio and look...
I guess we were supposed to forget that Macy and Thorne were neighbors 😂
I guess Macy was the least curious neighbor of all time. 😂
@-Lily7415 they do acknowledge almost every time brooke is at thornes..Macy is not ever home. I do not get how in that whole year or so theybwere messing around macy never came home once and saw them. It makes no sense
@@annieo6527 Thorne should have had MY neighbours 😂
He couldn't get away with anything.. They'd be reporting Brooke's car as a strange vehicle in the neighbourhood, in the neighbour group chat lolol
@@TriniT21 Kimberly seems more like that kind of neighbor!
Just like Thorne, Brooke acts all innoscent, doesnt own any responsibility and like she has no clue why everybody feels the way they do about them🙄
Look who is talking about being unfair
Thorne stays with Grandma Dinosaur at the expense of his family.
Brook You are the cause of all this pain
It was great to see Connor again! However, it would have been nice if the show had acknowledged that Connor was actually not just a lawyer but Macy's friend. The scene would have been even more poignant if we had had Connor flashing back to his own happy memories of Macy, before giving Sally the will. As I recall, they had some serious chemistry that was never explored.
Yes, I thought so too.. Even that he should have been at the memorial service.
Nice transition at 16:07 between diegetic and non-diegetic music! Kimberly actually plays the first two notes of the music cue on the keyboard, and the the music continues without an on-screen source. Subtle!
Hhhhh have your fun Thorne because Brooklyn will dump you and go after your brother again hhh
CJ and Amber. That is Brad writing: fast romances and faster break ups. He has never cared to build something the viewer could relate to. All his romances are void and even when they work he doesn't care and break them up
This is the core problem with Brooke. She tells Thorne she won’t LET his family disown him. What right does she have in this decision?? None! But she’s RELENTLESS. When she wants something she thinks she can get it. Period.
In the future Eric and Ridge re marry Brooke, but Stephanie still wants them in her life.
Hey I hate to stand up for Thorne at this time because he treated Macy so badly
It’s just that he has always clearly been the black sheep of the family
I’ve always felt Eric didn’t help Thorne become who he could have been, but Ridge was always his “ golden” boy
I don’t know how Stephanie thought that Thorne would choose the family over Brooke? That is hardly to his advantage the way he has been treated by the family, especially Eric and Ridge. 😠
Brooke is CEO of FC so Thorne would still be working for Brooke. How awkward would that be? 🤔
Honestly, what would change for Thorne really getting kicked out the family? Lol.
But seriously, being with Brooke and being with nothing is the same thing.
His family might ignore him most of the time, but Steph takes him on when it counts (she did go to jail for him). Brooke would never do anything for Thorne and certainly wouldn't give anything up for him.
But Brooke has never really loved Thorne and Eric. They are the men that suffered the most for Brooke's obsession for Ridge. Ridge can be happy without Brooke as we can see NOW or every time he chooses another woman. The future you are talking about is a dystopic BB version. Brooke Brooke and only Brooke...
@@babs4848 I think Taylor was his true love.
*_"You will never have him, Brooke. I swe ar on my sister's grave."_*
Macy actually works really well as a "posthumous character", and is in some ways _more_ effective as a driver of plot dead than alive. Because of the crueI and unfair nature of her death, it feels "unresolved" and this translates to storyline momentum and a raising of the stakes, changing the nature of the Spectra/Forrester feud from humorous to deadly serious, and adding a deeper layer of purpose to _everything_ Sally and her family do in relation to the Forresters from now on.
"Alive Macy" usually struggled to make her voice heard, and her attempts at controlling the plot tended to be unsuccessful. For the most part, she was limited in her agency by her Good Girl constraints (unless she was drunk and/or had an emotional breakdown).
"Dead Macy" will influence and drive multiple storylines and characters, acting as an "undercurrent of motivation" for several conflicts - Kimberly/Brooke, CJ/Rick, Sally/the Forresters, Stephanie/Thorne, even Clarke's support of Morgan's scheme. Macy's metaphorical ghost will be present on the show for years to come, and since it is not the _actual_ Macy but the _memory_ of Macy and how she died, the "Good Girl constraints" no longer apply. So "Dead Macy" can motivate her sister to avenge her, which is something "Alive Macy" would never do.
The well-established connection between Macy's singing voice and her narrative voice is also useful in establishing the "Dead Macy" character, because it allows characters to remember Macy vividly even _without the use of flashbacks,_ meaning we can actually see the memory of Macy (represented by her singing voice) superimposed on the grieving characters' reactions in real time, with no need to leave the present moment. Even when flashbacks are used, Macy's singing adds another layer of meaning to them. In essence, Macy's voice is such an integral part of the character that it allows her to "speak" from beyond the grave.
Macy's posthumous voice and agency are clearly established in this episode with the reading of Macy's will. It is significant that the will is being read by Macy's mother - her "proxy voice" - rather than by her lawyer, and that the phrasing of the will itself reads more like a personal letter than a IegaI document. Macy gives CJ sisterly advice, offers comfort to Kimberly, and even jokes around with Darla. And "Dead Macy's" first display of plot control is her leaving the beach house to Kimberly, which sets the entire Kimberly/Thorne/Brooke storyline in motion.
*spoiler*
(Of course, the writers keeping "Dead Macy" as a long-term character aftee Macy's first death, constantly reminding viewers of her existence, is an indication that they always intended "Alive Macy" to return at some point. By contrast, after Macy's second death, there was no "Dead Macy" character, and so "Alive Macy" never returned.)
Terrific analysis of Dead Macy's ability to drive the plot and her different voices! Do they ever use Macy's singing as background music/underscore for scenes that aren't explicitly about remembering Macy, do you know?
@@NewYorkNick0607during Macy's first death, her singing is only used to represent other characters' memory of her (Sally, CJ, Kimberly, Thorne), that is, as the voice of "Dead Macy", and is usually diegetic (characters listening to CDs).
After her _second_ death, this connection is bIurred and her singing is sometimes used to represent other characters in the Spectra family, and in those cases is non-diegetic (for example it was used during flashbacks when Darla died).
Too bad they couldn’t fire them and kick them out of company.
The beach house is worth much more than the cafe, kind of unfair Macy
On the other hand, with Macy dead, CJ will also eventually inherit Macy's half of everything Sally owns. With Kimberly's father gone, her situation is much more uncertain.
Becky wanted you two together
Thorne should have said ok
I’ll see y’all at work on there way out the door.
Lol. Unless they can kick Thorne out the company, very little will change in his life
Looking back when I saw this, never have I thought Stephanie would kick Thorne out of the family after what happened with Macy.
When did Amber & C.J have a family portrait already made with Baby Eric? Becky just passed away a few days ago💔
To be fair, the men in this family have no spine... Queen Stephanie is the ruler
Stephanie forgot Kristen and Felicia
I loved those two back in the beginning, beautiful girls, especially Kristen.
Brooke and Thorne are sickening to watch! Stephanie tried, but Thorne’s as blindsided and weak as the rest of the Forrester men, when it comes to Brooke!
Poor Stephanie!
Brooke is really head strong this literally speaking
I mean a car crash, broken window ,slaps and physical terrorism yet she still wants her Thorne... one normal person would have locked herself at least days in her house...
Well my opinion let her have it!
His sister just died in a tragic car accident. Its hardly realistic that he would even think of kissing another girl. Anything to keep Amber relevant.
His wife just died too!
Do young people have a ´last will´ ready in the US? I made my will at the age of 62 and that was because for the first time in my life I owned something substantial.
Watching these old eps, i forgot just how awful brooke was going after thorne, her former brother and son in law, and hounding macy. and of course, less than a yeaer later she'd show her true colours with a slip of the tongue so all for naught.
But goddamned. I can see why thorne, ridge and eric turned to her who is encouraging and says sweet things, when stephanie is so hardlined. Stephanie made it all easy for brooke. she never really learned a soft approach is sometimes needed. Also, Thorne really was the scapegoat to ridge's golden child.
Why is Amber in CJ's wedding picture?
Someone please synchronise KKL’s voice, but without that annoying heavy breathing!
So did the actress playing Macy want to leave the show or was she written out of it?
If I had a mother in love like Stephanie I’d hide. Blaming Brooke for everything is ridiculous. It takes two to tangle. I would say later Brooke you’re compromising my inheritance
I still don’t like Kimberly at all
So there are 2 beach houses?
There are three beach houses - Taylor's, Thorne's, and Macy's.
@@annieo6527yesterday Taylor's is the only one that becomes the beach house for the entire forrester and Logan clan
How ironic sweet Kimmie is about to get into her second Forrester and CJ already!!! falling for his second Moore. Not that they'll get any, but it's the thought that counts.
They are two traumatized kids. Especially Kimberly is having serious issues.
@@annieo6527 You are right especially Kimberly. She is even dangerous of causing physical harm or worse.
What the hell is brooke wearing
where is episode 2120????
I thought Taylor owned the beach house?
Thorne, Macy and Taylor each owned a beach house of their own in 2000 - so there are 3! beach houses.
- But Taylor became Morgan's landlord when Morgan had told Taylor that she would be looking for a place of her own (was living in a hotel at that time).
- Kimberly now got Macy's beach house and will be Thorne's neighbor.
Macy has a different beach house and that's the one Kimberly inherited.
☝ Take note, Mara.
Stephanie is awful.

I’m confused why they always leave out Eric and Bridget lol. Like of course Thorne and Brooke are still apart of the family. This was so stupid.
Thought it was pretty stupid too. Eric has children with Brooke. Stephanie can’t banish Brooke from the family or FC. Therefore how does Stephanie think she can have Thorne make a choice between the family or Brooke? Crazy writing….🥴
Eric and Ridge going along with Stephanie on this is completely implausible from start to finish. 😮
The kids are old enough to visit Eric when they want
Easy, he is not invited to dinners, parties or family celebrations. So Stephanie doesn't have to endure Brooke's presence outside FC.
