First Kimberly proves that she has learned everything she can from Brooke. Then she proves she has _also_ figured out how to win Stephanie over, which is something Brooke never managed to do.
I'm not sure she's totally won over Stephanie though (I just wrote something about this). I think Stephanie would be happy if Kimberly broke up Thorne and Brooke but she doesn't see her as an ideal solution (like Taylor or Macy).
It's a typical example again: Taylor thinks of the children first and reminds Brooke - Brooke speaks to her competitor first. Which shows that Brooke was always all about winning against other women, just as she later taught Hope.
*@Esi* - _another_ good scene with Taylor and Brooke. I actually like seeing them in this mode and wish the show had explored it more and let them grow. For Y&R viewers, it reminds me of Jill and Nina. Initially they were enemies fighting over Phillip and his son. But eventually they settled into a relationship where they weren't friends exactly, and they still had (very fun) head-butting scenes, but they also had scenes where Jill counseled Nina and she even went to bat for her when a younger woman (Trisha) was pursuing Nina's husband Ryan, just like Taylor is doing now for Brooke with Kimberly.
Yes. But this show unfortinately doesn't have that level of depth. Jill at least had other things to do besides fighting with Nina. And she grew up and actually acted like an adult. As much as Brooke is now leaning on Taylor (bc, Really, who else is she going to talk to, given she has no friends), what's Brooke going to do with all her time if she's not fighting with Taylor over Ridge. They haven't developed Brooke's character past a teenager trapped in the body of a 100 year old...
*Stephanie and Kimberly* It's interesting that Stephanie sees the benefit in what Kimberly is doing but she's not totally buying what Kimberly is selling either. She doesn't outright give her support, she expresses concern over the age difference, and she calls Kimberly's connection with Thorne "naive." This is indicative of Kimberly's confused position in this storyline. For all her talk about morals and values, she's really not a clean Good Girl. She has some claims to that archetype (her v card for example) but she also, by her own admission, doesn't mind "taking a page from Brooke" (like her attempts to sed u c e Thorne). Moreover her criticism of Brooke for being involved with multiple Forrester men is undermined by her own history of going from Rick to Thorne! In this way, she's not the ideal avatar for Stephanie. As I've written before, Stephanie went from feuding with Brooke over Eric to feuding with her over Ridge but since the latter was her son, she needed a romantic rival to Brooke who could represent her - and whom she could influence - and Taylor was perfect for that role. Together they battled Brooke to defend the Tridge marriage and their "division of labor" allowed Taylor to remain a Good Girl because Stephanie could do the scheming and gloating for her. That way the contrast with Brooke was cleaner and Taylor could earn her happy ending with Ridge. Stephanie would like to have that arrangement again here with Thorne but Kimberly isn't an ideal avatar for the reasons I previously stated. The idea avatar was Macy but the show (and the s t r o k e) kept Stephanie mostly out of that storyline. And try as she might to be Macy, Kimberly just doesn't (in acting, in singing or in role) have the the range.
I think the show has been pretty clear these past few episodes in showing that Stephanie isn’t super excited by Kimberly, but is *delighted* to have someone interfere in the Thorne/Brooke marriage. So today’s episode was pretty consistent with that.
Yes, *Nick* and *Faye,* I agree that Stephanie has concerns about Kimberly, but to me it's clear that she is only voicing these concerns because she is _genuinely considering Kimberly_ as a solution to the problem. (Otherwise she'd just tell Kim it's not going to happen.) It's not as ideal a solution as Taylor, but then again, neither was Macy until the alternative was Brooke. In fact, the "you're a lovely girl but I have concerns" talk is how she reacted to Macy as well in the beginning. Another thing that becomes clear in this storyline is how the Forresters (Ridge and Eric) see Kimberly the same way they saw Macy in the Venice storyline - a useful diversion for Thorne and worth supporting for that reason, but without taking into account that being with Thorne would not be healthy _for Kimberly/Macy._ By contrast, Kimberly's own family members, who are mainly concerned about her well-being, do not support her going after Thorne.
@@annieo6527 Yes I agree *Annie* and *Faye.* I'm just explaining why Kimberly can't become another Taylor for Stephanie. It's interesting isn't it that even when she had the ideal Taylor for Thorne (Macy) Stephanie wasn't that interested in his storyline and didn't make use of her in the same way. I think that speaks to Thorne's low position in the family. We've joked before that he got involved with Brooke partly to get his mother's attention and there's something to that. What Stephanie the Storyteller wants is not to create a new story structure where she puppets Thorne's wife to battle Brooke - what she really wants is for Thorne to stop seeing Brooke so she can stop thinking about him again and get back to Ridge (and deal with the Morgan storyline). Thorne getting involved with Brooke upsets the family and story structure and that's why he's been literally removed from the family - he's been _cast out_ for trying to _recast himself_ in a new role.

I'd forgotten that Taylor and Brooke went through a period where they were friends. It's rather nice to see. And Rick's just mad that Kimberly is willing to give it up to Thorne but would barely let Rick touch her. 🤣
Well, that was dramatic! 😂. I very much enjoyed Thorne doing a 180 from the earnest “we’re all going to be one big happy family” to “f*ck them kids.” When Thorne exploded that he was done letting Brooke’s kids control his life with her, I did want Rick to remind him that they were also his brother and sister. I *howled* when Rick started a fight with Thorne and then Brooke walks in and Rick immediately drops his shoulders and looks dejectedly and weakly at his mother. What a setup! I really thought he would run sobbing to her side and call her “Mommy” for good measure. I’d *almost* feel sorry for Thorne if I didn’t remember what he did to Macy. The Brooke/Taylor scene was actually a nice one. Brooke sounded like a semi adult, and Taylor like a real psychiatrist. However, it just reinforced how much this relationship is about security for Brooke and not love. She again repeatedly laments that she never thought *he’d* cheat, and that she’d worked hard to convince Bridget and Rick that he would take care of Brooke and help them be a secure family unit. That he would help Bridget trust in men. Nothing about how he’d broken Brooke’s heart, how she loved him so much that his betrayal was hurting her. He’s not even close to what Ridge is for her, and kudos to the show for finally showing that and not pretending anymore they’re great destined lovers. Line of the episode: Rick: “Tell me what it was like kissing Kimberly, Thorne. How did it feel to have her firm young body pressed up against yours?!” Thorne: *hangs his head slightly and looks shamefaced* Rick: “No, I’m not being sarcastic, I really want to know. Kimberly treated me like I had the plague the whole time we dated, I really want to know what it feels like to touch her.”

Or when she wanted to attach Bill's child to Eric, she wanted to seduce him too. Oh yes, she's really innocent, isn't she?
@@aksbrown But it's not about the best chase scene, but rather about the fact that Brooke is not a poor victim who has been wronged by all men. She was the one who constantly looked for men who were already in a relationship and she threw herself at them because she "followed her heart".

Do you have any ideas about how a die-hard Brooke fan can justify Brooke's sick actions other than an irrational comparison to Taylor? Although there are many fundamental differences, as Taylor has not had an affair with James, while Brooke uses her body to do anything to get men from other women. But rose-colored glasses seem to help with something like this 😂 There are simply no logical, comprehensible arguments for Brooke's character.
Oh my goodness its a freaking soap opera and I am not desperate to defend anyone I like,Taylor fans want to whitewash Taylor’s adultery because it wasn’t a full blown affair but the fact is she cheated on Ridge period and it doesn’t matter that it was one time or multiple times.

@@juliaschmidt6511 I don't think she would support Kimberly either - not for Thorne's sake but for Kimberly's. It's clearly not what's best for Kimberly.
But she also did not accept Thorne with Brooke after Brooke arrived and asked her to sign the divorce papers, because then she realized that Brooke would end up making Thorne unhappy.
Rick and his anger issues
I'd forgotten that Taylor and Brooke went through a period where they were friends. It's rather nice to see.
And Rick's just mad that Kimberly is willing to give it up to Thorne but would barely let Rick touch her. 🤣
This is not friendship.
They aren't friends and never have been.
There's only "peace" because Brooke isn't after Ridge at that time.
It was okay for Brooke to sleep with Eric and Ridge. Don't the writers see the hypocrisy in their scripts? Eric & Ridge were skirt chasers still are.
This is the episode of all episodes, where you see how emotionally damaged her children are from her running from one half brother to the next LO. L
There's Taylor and then there's Brooke do they not use the same hair/makeup/stylist on the show!
😂😂
Line of the episode:
Rick: “Tell me what it was like kissing Kimberly, Thorne. How did it feel to have her firm young body pressed up against yours?!”
Thorne: *hangs his head slightly and looks shamefaced*
Rick: “No, I’m not being sarcastic, I really want to know. Kimberly treated me like I had the plague the whole time we dated, I really want to know what it feels like to touch her.”
There's really nobody to feel sorry for in all of this.
I legit cracked up at Rick asking about how it was with Kim bc it did sound like he really wanted to know since he never experienced it when they were together 😂
MEANWHILE...
My best line was: "Me and Bridgit come first with mom"
Poor delusional Rick....
Great post!
My great line was Bridget walking in on Rick and Thorne flghting, saying "oh no, they are going to unalive each other!" and then _leaving_ to let them continue. 😂
@@TriniT21Poor Rick must be allowed his dreams, I suppose 😂.
@@annieo6527That *was* funny! Especially because JF really played it as if she was thinking “Have I gone too far,” but then she just shrugs it off and leaves.
Bridget was probably hoping that Rick would unalive Thorne, and then she'd magically reappear to help him bury the body😂.
Beautiful Taylor in my thumbnail!❤
She looks just divine🩵🩷
Bring back Jacob Young please!! Can’t stand this Rick at all!👎🏻🤦♀️
Ricky-boy always sees his mother as a poor victim. She made the decision herself to approach taken men and only want to keep them with what her body has to offer and not with what little she has in her head.
All three Forrester men approached Brooke first… Ridge, Eric, Thorne. 😮
@@bettyhopson She offered herself again and again. Please don't tell me that she innocently forced her way into so many relationships. When Ridge was married to Taylor, she followed him around like a dog in heat. Should we still talk about the elevator scene? She has always made full use of her charms, and not just with the Forrester men. I think of the situation when she tried to drag Nick, who was engaged to Taylor, into bed - and not just once. Or when she wanted to attach Bill's child to Eric, she wanted to seduce him too. Oh yes, she's really innocent, isn't she?
@@ahy4234What about when Ridge chased Brooke on the bike to stop her marrying Grand?
That was the best chase on bold and the beautiful history.
@@aksbrown But it's not about the best chase scene, but rather about the fact that Brooke is not a poor victim who has been wronged by all men. She was the one who constantly looked for men who were already in a relationship and she threw herself at them because she "followed her heart".
@@aksbrown Ridge specifically told Brooke that she tried to stop her from marrying Grant to protect her from him, not because he wanted to be with her. He told he still intends on marrying Taylor. *Your comment actually solidifies *@Ahy4234's* point. Brooke married Grant to make Ridge jealous, and it backfired. Her getting involved with Grant was all about her chase for Ridge. Romance always has to be a competition for Brooke
Brook did not know where to go and she went to see taylor/
I don't know why Brooke is worried about how she's going to justify to her children that Thorne made out with such a young woman? Hugh? Probably just the way she justifies going to bed with her fathers' sons? 😆
So is Season 14 coming? I noticed this is the last episode in the playlist as the playlist only has 262 videos.
Yes ,starting tomorrow 3 episodes a day
It showed upcoming 5/27
Kimberly told Stephanie she’s not going to flaunt her body like Brooke.😂😂😂 That’s all she’s been doing !!!
Will Brooke finally make a wise and smart decision? Tune in tomorrow.
We don't need to tune in... The answer is no
Brooke is shameless !!
How Taylor was always more beautiful and intelligent than Brooke could ever be! that’s why the mattress and her stans were always jealous of her! 😂
Exactly 💯
Agree 👍
Thorne and Rick 😆taylor stunning love her hair like this
Rick is 100% ignorant, thoughtless, and the cruelest! Brooke Logan must tell her adult children about their grandma Beth Logan bedding Eric Forrester in college and during his marriage for 1 year, and yes Brooke Logan is the apple of her mother. I am obsessed and fascinated with a stranger (Ridge Forrester) so I and Throne used trickery and deceit to get what we wanted after Ridge and Caroline brought us together to build a relationship.
Wait Brooke's mom had an affair with Eric after he married Stephanie???😊
@@georgiesimmons5924 Absolutely!
Yes Bridget stand up to your mother 👍
Why doesn't it surprise me that Vicky, Betty and Lily are all bringing up Taylor's so called "cheating", when it's actually about Brooke? The Brooke stans are beyond desperately grasping at straws….😂🤦♀️
@@ahy4234I couldn’t agree more! When the Brooke fans have no arguments left, they bring up Taylor😂👍🏻
@@scor66They are sad ppl just like brooke.
2:14 - 2:20 now you know how Macy felt Brooke
so now what?not new episodes?

I hope they eventually go back and finish season 9. They have to know a lot of people wanted to see the paternity reveal.
They are posting season 14 tomorrow
It is showing upcoming and tomorrows date
3 episodes a day
Season 14 - if you type Bold 3397 in search, it's up first tomorrow. Surprised they haven't advertised it yet. Be great if they would add the 8 missing episodes and replace the faulty ones (long glitches, no audio). It would truly complete the season if they could fix all these issues.
Where is Jack
Thanks for the upload !! I couldnt Stand Windsor Harmon as Throne !!
Season 14 episode 1 is the next episode. The continuation of this episode.
Hunter was a stunning woman
You go Brooke Forrester😮 tell her off I knew Rick was going to punch out Thorn Forrester is very protective of his mother
Oh? And before that, spoiled little Ricky boy judges CJ for being unpredictable? Rick is just as sick in the head as his mother, which will later be seen more than once in his sick actions. He has his own story and unfortunately has an absolutely bad role model in his mother because he cannot distinguish right from wrong and is just as selfish as she is.
