Have you ever cold-called a toy company to pitch an idea? Share your story below! 👇🏾 Did it work out for you?

      I had two interesting experiences:
One that was hot on the idea and another that was hot on the idea and then ghosted me.

Thanks Azhelle for another great video. I'm never done cold calling to a toy company, but when I worked in fashion PR I did plenty of cold calling to sylists at magazines to pull products for photo shoots. One of those cold calls resulted in a great shot of one of the company's products on a major celebrity in a big fashion magazine. And not to brag, but that shot made the cover of the German edition of the magazine. So yes, cold calling does work! I am an EXTRAvert and good at cold calling, but I think a lot of people are introverts or feel uncomfortable on the phone or in person, so if you are brainstorming for more helpful content I think a video on "how to cold call" or "how to sell yourself or your idea" would benefit your students who may not have this natural skill. I really like what you're doing and just wanted to leave a comment to bump you up in the RUclips algorithm. Happy Valentines Day!

Love this video suggestion! I'm going to have to add to to my Podcast to do as well, thank you for the watch, bump, and idea. Kudos to your cold calling success, even if outside of the toy world!

Thank you Azhelle for a deeper look at pitching toy ideas! Your experiences are really valuable and, I appreciate your clarity! As a business coach to McHale Design - the leading graphic design agency specializing in "Branding for the World of Youth" and Funosophy, a full-service marketing, product and invention design firm specializing in toys and kid's products, we rarely had a conversation about pitching new ideas. When I met them, they were already a well-defined brand. We worked on designing their companies for profit and quality management, as they grew their bottom line to $1M. I appreciate your insight and style. Thank you! I will definitely keep following you.
