Man, that dude could have chose anything as a career and still been super succesfull at it. This was the best podcast, super deep. Congrats both Adam and thewakko on amazing Q’s. Steffen is the man
Great podcast. Steffen has all things sorted out so perfectly, that while he was explaining that, i learnt a lot about myself, and my motivations in poker.
Thank god we couldn't see Rene's pants when Steffen said he's been experimenting w/ the 10% river donk...wouldn't be able to watch this video anymore unless you were 18+
Absolutely. Because everybody is free to play and is playing against other humans. Most addicts are sitting in front of slot maschines - not poker tables. So, what do you think would be unethical about that? :)
@southernfriedchicken92 you can reduce the impact of rake playing more agressive pre flop (there is no rake on pre flop pots). So 3 bet more and 4 bet more for value and bluff. You can reduce the impact of rake tightening your ranges and playing less speculative hands. Stop setmining with médium and low pocket pairs helps. You can play high volume for rakeback too.
@southernfriedchicken92 I see where you are coming from, if you have some problems with addiction ... but most of your argument has nothing to do with ethical things - just saying that bad players loose more money. But bad players in football loose more matches, in chess it's the same. Also there are edges to be gained. It isn't as black and white as you say. About all the unethical stuff sites or casinos are doing - you do have a point. But that doesn't mean that "Poker" is unethical (as you said).
@southernfriedchicken92 yes in live games specially in Brasil there is gambling addicts at the plo tables for sure and 5% un cap rake is Also sick but I beat it playing 500bb deep and mega nitty pre ranges.
This interview sounds really cool but in todays world who has time to listen to 2 hours of content about peoples opinions on life?. It would be an epic podcast if it had some actual learning in it. Like reviewing why and how he played specific hands etc...
That's not the idea of these podcasts. Aren't there already enough channels reviewing hands and theory? I really like the kind of content coming from these podcasts.

He top 50 in the world at cash game poker and top 3 if not No 1 life wise of all poker players!
Another great episode! 👍 High level discussions between down to earth poker players.

Uri Peleg in the next podcast? Please make that happen 🔥🔥🔥
loved it!!
Humble to play 200 zoom and be ranked No 20 in the world by me. Negreanu and hellmut play high stakes live and not even top 100 000.
The bad regs in My 100 games are way better.
HU probably top 5
Feel very bad for him that he had to fly to the Bahamas :/
Love goose
Nice
