I use small floaters for swimmers and a anchor to stay in place and get water all the time.

The dolly thing is a roller bunk from a boat trailer, if you fit pvc over the rollers to increase its footprint it will roll across the sand alot better.

when you think that you have a good idea that seems obvious, yet nobody else is doing it ... maybe there's a good reason why nobody else is doing it ...

For the beach you can also dig a pond in front of your sluicebox and cover it with pond foil to recycle the water with a good filter box in front of the sluicebox.

I'm thinking if you put a 2 inch rock under the beach side of your iron pipe and stack a couple ft tall platform of flat rocks to set your pump on you do ok. Also you could dig a small trench to put the hose down in where the traffic crosses to save your blue hose. Love your videos!

If your open to suggestions i would find a old gunny sack or cheesecloth use it as a filter on the end of the pipe dig a small trench to lay your lay flat end and cover it back up with sand so Vehicles won't hurt it find a longer hose maybe a 50 ft of fire hose one and a half inch they're cheap fire department my give you some and instead of that trolley use a large rock to keep it off the bottom and use anything to keep your pump higher

Still interesting to see how others make mistake, when beach mining. And to let such a good motor sit in seawater like that.
