For information I just got my level 3 rapid duty holster. I do not have an rmr on my pistol but ordered with the rmr hood for future addition. It works without the rmr optic. I have a surefire x300 with pressure switch that runs under the trigger guard. It will not fit and had to remove the remote pressure switch due to little clearance in case anyone else runs pressure switch. Also the ride hight for holster is pretty high. I ordered the low ride and it's equivalent to mid ride from safriland. My department had 6 holsters sent to them for trial runs and will most likely have this as a standard issue. This holster is amazing and the draw is quick. It's something you need to experience. I wasn't this happy with a holster since the safriland raptor came out.

@@MarioMartinez-lj7og I've been using and training with it since then. Smooth withdrawal, secure and tight lock, love it. I tried my friend's Safariland duty holster before, honestly speaking, I felt this one is smoother than the Safariland IMO

I need one of these for a Sig P320 XCarry legion with reddot and light
I wanted one badly, but Alien gear doesn’t sell an outside the waist holster (mid drop) for my gun (Glock 21 or 21sf) I called alien to make sure. And they confirmed they only make inside the waist holster for my gun. What a bummer, my whole gun belt setup was for the Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Holster with a Glock 21sf, Holosun SCS Solar Charging Sight and Streamlight TLR-8. Heart breaking!!!! Get it together Alien gear!!!

I have a big hood cover without the extra plastic that covers my red dot sight , is it anyway I could get the small sized hood ? Did not see an option to choose when I got the holster just received it today
Hey I bought a rapid force and the hood isn’t fully closed as shown. It has a cutout in the hood 🤷♂️.

Some Glock 17 & 19 holster are able to be used for Staccato P & C2, will this be able to fit as well?
Our holsters are injection molded and designed to, specifically, accommodate the Glock 17 and 19. With that said, we have not tested the Staccato models for fitment in these holsters. As such, if you would like to order one and give it a try you do have 30 days from the day you receive it to test it and you can send it back for a refund/exchange for any reason in that time!

yes, just saw another video that said the thumb break lock attaches to the slide eject, not the light itself so it should be compatible if you change to another similar sized light
the remptention point on this holster its goes on the light? or its in another parts? i want to know if this its compatible whit o light pl3 or the olight pl turbo please!, or this work whit any light?
Retention is on the ejection port from my understanding
How much of an issue would it be to use the thigh strap on the standard ride? I asked in the chat on the website and they said I can use the strap on the standard one. But the manual and you are saying on the low mount only.
The holster is designed to use the low-ride strap in the low-ride configuration for the Belt Slide. This is due to the low-ride belt slide piece having an additional space for the strap to slot through for optimal fit. That said, the strap can be made to work for the different ride heights but that is not the way it was optimally designed.

What if the thumb button rubs on the belt clamp? Not enough offset?
If you do not have the QDS system on your holster then you may experience this being an issue. The best thing to do would be to use the triangle spacer which should have been included with the holster to create a little bit more space between the holster and the belt slide!
@@rapidforce5827 I set the belt clamp back, it was a manufacturing issue. Fix the problem don’t band-aid it
@@rapidforce5827 the spacer is exactly what i need due to having a thicker outer belt. I don't believe one came with my order. How should I go about getting one?
Anyone else have an issue with the holster rubbing and leaving marks on their slide? My holster is leaving wear marks on the slide of my Gen 3 G17.
Yes, I’ve been noticing my slide has rub marks every time I draw. I’ve tried every adjustment I can think of, let me know if there is a solution you found.
@@robertc7061 holsters will do that, its not a bug of the design, its a result of a hard holster. They squeeze your gun, when you pull it out and put it back in, the part that squeezes your gun to keep it holstered will also squeeze and rub your slide.
@@CatholicKit I’ve never this issue with my safariland or Blackhawk duty holsters. I know it’ll eventually cause me to have to refinish my slide

I just got a Palmetto State Armory 5.7mm, with a big light. Are your holsters designed to fit the specific gun, or could I try my gun in your biggest model?
They're molded. They only have Sig and Glock molds right now.
I'm confused. I wanted to order for my G17 MOS, but was advised by your help desk person that it won't fit MOS, only regular glocks. It doesn't make any sense, especially that you're selling these with Red Dot hood. Can you help me out here? I see so many guys running glocks with red dots. So it fits or doesn't..???
I purchased one for my Gen 5 17MOS but
I got different answers from different customer service reps regarding red dot compatibility.
I’m also not too happy that they claim the belt slide spacer can accommodate at 2.25” belt. I can’t line up the spacer and the screw holes so my holster almost sits crooked on my belt.

Y'all need to improve the customer service answers regarding compatibility. It's limiting purchasers like myself who are confused about model variants, RDS mounts, etc. Given how the locking mechanism works, it should be compatible but your Q&A answers just say, "yea, we'll add that to the list". That's not an answer.
They literally tell you everything that it's compatible with on the website?
I just called in today with some difficult questions about a highly customized setup and Jasmine gave me all the answers I needed. I’m running Glock 17 with lower 1/4 cowitness on a Holosun EPS and was concerned about it fitting the RDS hood. She pulled up information on my sight, and compared it to other optics that are of similar size, but slightly larger to make sure it would fit. She ended with, “Even if we’re wrong, you have a 30 day trial. Send it back and we’ll figure out what changes we need to make for you.” That alone sold me on it.
