I have a Java siluro 3. Comes with Alu Alloy frame and carbon fork. I too changed d group set to a full 105 groupset. Changed d wheel set to d carbon fiber Avian 370. After changing d saddle and stem to full carbon , it also weight around 9.4kg and it performs wonderfully! 😉😊
I ride a vesuvio and the heaviest component of it is the alu wheels. Replaced it with 45mm carbon rims and ultegra gs and it weighs 8.3kg now and can climb with it 😁
I have a Java Fuoco 2021. upgraded full 105 hydraulic brakes, crankset, tyres, it has been a dream ride. Some mistaken the bike as a Cannondale system six.
i have the same bike, and upgraded the groupset to full 105 and a 44mm handle bar and i think its a good mid level bike at 9 kg's. If i were to upgrade i'd may just get a lighter frameset and that would be an amazing ride.
how much for the upgrade?
A good training bike for the price point. Integrated stem handle bar with internal routing seldom seen on other bikes at this price point. Great purchase.
My friend just bought a Java Siluro that is UCI approved 10.8 kg stock wo pedals. Java bikes are heavy indeed but they are relatively cheap as well
That 10 years throwback footage of riding through Bandar Utama traffic though! Would love to join for a ride if you are ever riding these routes again. 😁
I am 2021 Java siluro 3 owner , fresh in the sport , currently riding and training with it every week with the buddies, spending money to buy parts to upgrade and shape the bike to what I want , the process is fun and rewarding , absolutely no regrets on choosing the bike , and the aero frame is handsome too , all rounded good beginer bike 😄🚲
where u buy ah, im looking for the same bike but go so many supplier varied prices dk who to believe
@@kapishss5540 I own a java bike too same as the video one. Got it from dc pro at ubi, price very competitive to what taobao sells
@@kapishss5540 my Java Siluro 3 bought from Shoppee price $998🤣
I ride a JAVA FUOCO J-AIR (2021) I dare say this is the most budget friendly aero road bike in the market. The cheapest you can find is $1689 on a lbs.
For $1689 you get.
- Full carbon fiber
- Full integrated cable routing
- Aero frame
- 105 Groupset
- UCI approved frame and fork
- Loud hub
- 50mm wheels
Many ppl would recommend a Triban or Van Rysel. No offence but those bike indeed look like it's price tag or lower, I just cant stand seeing the thin low profile wheels it looks cheap. Java Vesuvio and Fuoco does like look a $5000 bike. Performance wise of cos it cant be compare to a higher end bike but at this price point it definitely worth it.
Now have new model Java Jair Fuoco. My friend full durace group set with 35mm carbon wheel. Whole weight is 7.4kg.
Giant 105 advanced come with stock also is 8.8kg. If compare with weight is similar.
I went from an OEM f12 to a tcr purely for its stiffness. And I decided to buy a 2nd hand vesuvio as my 2nd bike to trash around since i found a relatively cheap deal. What really surprised me was that is surprisingly very stiff. My guess is due to the press fit bottom bracket which naturally enlarges the bb area, similar to a tcr.
I ride a java too! 🤘🤘 totally agree with your points
One more point - Java road bike are UCI certified where none of the Sava road bike are certified.
I wonder if there are any smaller pro teams riding a Java
@@OompaLoompaCycling I think some teams would avoid java because of the stock brakes if I'm not wrong
@@OompaLoompaCycling yes there are euro teams
i have a tricked out Java Fuoco 5 with full R8000 and Hyper wheels. Weights 7.7kg w/o pedals. Solid bike. Holds steady at 35kph on TMCR, climbs okie and reasonably stiff. No creaks nor flexes, a severely underated bike.
You should interview someone with a Triban RC520.
That was my 1st road bike 😆 Now i ride a Giant TCR
Which is better? Java or Polygon?
Perfect entry level bike, no fuss, bombproof drivetrain. At 100kg, he’s my target weight! I weigh 120 kg, and ride one aluminium, and 2 carbon bikes, with carbon rims, (even rim brake!) so far, so good
Take note to those who wanna get a Vesuvio, the stock brake caliper is inhouse decaf mechanical disc brake not hydraulic 105. The owner switch it out, the stock one suck so bad that's why someone asking is the brake tight.
Yup. I'm currently riding a vesuvio and braking performance isn't that good.
Finally upload . I wait for this bike interview. Haha
Speaking of low entry price point... I'm surprised you haven't had a Twitter Thunder bike on you channel. I have one and it is pretty good overall... I was in Singapore last week should have contacted you and brought might bike with me.
I had the Java Vesuvio too, couldn’t climb with it as well. The problem with mine was a problematic headset that seemed to have failed QC, very rusty and shaky, that does not translate any pedalling force to power. Personally a bad experience for me, so I would avoid Java.
impressive reflexes.
time between the question why so few people ride java, and the answer brand…
possibly sub 0.1 seconds
Thank you bro, i am 105kgs and i really doubt carbon can carry me, but thanks to you, i just need to loose 6 kgs, and i am assured a carbon bike can carry me. thanks bro.
"iT's 9.5kg iT's pRetTy hEavY. i tOt iT waS 8.5kg"
😂😂😂😂😂
As if 1kg really makes that much of a difference.
a little bit similar colorway like cannondale.
Look at Zitto BB86 - it is threaded in the middle.
Im using this bike, 😍😍 rim brake version, n this bike is amazing for me, my weight 104kg and i already done 4 100km ride with this java vesuvio
good job!
Quite obvious why he doesn't have a slammed stem. If you are tall, you should not slam your stem. Peak Torque himself is also tall and gives you a good reason why you should not.
Agree, the saddle to handle bar drop is already massive as it is, no point in lowering the stem even further
@@seancahyo9999 I know everyone thinks aero is everything but when you are tall, your long limbs are able to generate massive power to compensate for the perceived lack of aero.
Nice bike!
should try merida reacto . that is a very stiff bike.
Sir. Got any interview for cannondale system six ,super evolution? Or cervelo s5 ??
Hey I’ve got one super tricked out S5 that was filmed last week. Won’t be out so soon maybe in a month’s time. I’ve got hi-mod’s BUT no aero cannondale’s yet.
@@OompaLoompaCycling ok. Thanks. Hehe.
what's the frame size? and what's your height?
In the description
happy training
You have an episdoe for TCR SL 1 or SL 2?
I think so…
I have been riding Triban RC120. I agree with that the speed has much to do with the rider than the bike (not that it doesn’t matter). I have no issue with my SGD500+ bike surprisingly, i have been enjoying with it and just reached 10,000 KM mileage with it.
If I would recommend anyone to invest in their first road bike, Triban RC520 or Van Rysel RCR will be perfect because of the Shimano group set, since you have no idea about the brands also 😂
Nice!
No wonder la damn strong. From fixed gear scene. They are all mad 💀
It is impressive that the rider is 100kg and can go 36-38km/hr. He must be very powerful rider
@Sglowrider he spins more surprisingly
Weight doesn’t matter on flat
@@binshuo exactly...
The problem not his weight even rider with 45kgs weight struggle a lot to climb this bike becausen the semi hydraulic brake is auto brake when you ecelerate..change the caliper fix the problem
@christ adama What do u mean buddy?
this bike i would say much better than trek emonda slr9..price more competitive and handles very well down the road..
I salute him because for fitness goal not falling into ego branded brand
What is the maximum tire width for the frame?
I run a 30c but i think max is 32c
i think the Look of the Bike is very Good, and the smartest would be like he said train with this Bike, maybe loose 5-10kg if he want that and then Upgrade directly to a New Bike. I would not Upgrade to Carbon Wheels and invest the Money in the New Bike
Nice bike, I feel it look more like a Cannondale Super Six or a Canyon CF SLX.
Bro, what happen to your 2 🎤 system?
these are older videos, the two mics are on newer videos. I have a few more videos which were recorded with this mic.
the rear tyres are on the wrong direction
More bike like this
can you interview more JAVA owner also the Twitter bike
Body weight : bike weight ratio, thanks! Got license to put on some weight now 🤣
Might go down 8.5kg with carbon wheels but still heavy tho
Not really tho at this price point tbh. There is a new Java Fuoco 2021 full carbon include wheelset weight 8.7kg with stock flat pedals ($1700). Whereas a 2022 Giant Propel Advanced 1 Disc weight 9kg at $6200.
Good
Shhhesh
My bike weight 8.3kg after i change to machine 11 50mm carbon wheel, this bike can go, 😁
we need an Oompa Loompa height reveal
1m subs
Using my aggaration skills. Is 1.72 with 64kg.

Sounds like this guy only wants a bike that looks cool according to his statements made.
cannot compare real tcr la,real tcr is away level
