Did he use inner tube back then in this videos? if yes, was it a TPU or a normal butyl inner tube? because if its a butyl and it weigh only 7,3kg. then ill think about this bike for my next build, since its aero and then if i can get it to 6,9kg, then its crazy best. around 150 to 200 grams saved from inner tube, and probably around 100-120grams from the saddle, since the saddle he hass looks quite huge. maybe even 6,7kg if i use all around wheels at 45mm.
translator I always said all frames made with a carriage pressfit this stuff! so that people would buy, and I knew that the thread would be returned again, I am an engineer by education, and I argued that the bearings should be inside the frame, and should be on the thread, even I drew the frame 7 years ago like a T 47 carriage and, lo and behold, marketers have come to this. carriages with such a thread and the width of the carriage make the frame better and stiffer, since the lower part is wider. so far, only a few brands are making such technology. Seka well done. the review is cool, my height is 178. leg length is 81 without shoes) the frame size was ordered by M. but I am upset that the weight of the frame does not match what they say even close. but on the technical side, everything below 1 kilogram is fragile and cannot be rigid, alas. this one is so.
Hi Jack, Im 180cm and an inseam of 84cm. Should I go for a large or would you opt for a medium if you were my size? We are almost the same size and both you and cam both went medium but my local bike shop in Malaysia is telling me to get the Large
@@RealMeatyBalls imo, you should get a medium. If you stick in between 2 sizes, i usually choose a smaller size. You can always make a small bike bigger (adjust the seattube to make it higher, longer stem, longer reach handlebars), but you can't make a large frame smaller. Trust me. You do not what a too large frame.
This is the best review explanation so far. I'm sold. I expected China will produce some good product , we as a consumer have to careful choose and by your channel producing these kind of content it help us as consumer. Kudos
Nice video and bike with clear explanation. Need to create more brand awareness for it to sell well. Most of us generally go for the popular brands in the market. For potential customers who are able to try this bike is a plus and hope it creates that feel that not just the European or American but we have an additional choice from really well made products from China and asia as well.
I'm quite annoyed that the vortex wheelset cost 3.55k. Not really sure they mail that. I just build a Chris King + Sapim spokes + China 60mm light rims for 1.5k. What makes the Vortex special besides the carbon spokes?
Totaly didfernt,. I have vortex N6. The carbon is T800. Usually the carbon's best material is T700. I have CK+50mm、 N6 vortex.Vortex is a cheaper version of Lightweight.
well gotta disagree with the bb issue....some brands went back to t47 threaded cus lesser fit tolerance needed. While some brands are doing fine with pressfit bbs...
Another beautiful bike and another upgrade on your video (This time round we can hear your questions). Well done 👏. Wow, 15k for a Chinese frame and wheel. That's eye watering. But must admit, those are very light wheels. @Jack, I am looking for someone to restore my 1986 Vitus road bike, will you be able to help? 😉
I want to build a bike, undecided between this bike and the WinSpace. Funny thing is nobody from their factory/web pages answer questions I mean difficult to do business like that, by the way I live in Florida USA.. I may want to help them expand their business here but HOW ? 😢😮
@@OompaLoompaCycling Cycling 100, I’m really undecided between WinSpace and SEKA. I did have contact with WinSpace they will have frames but in February. As far as SEKA ? nobody answers. I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks for the vids.
I prefer lightweight race bikes and its terrible to not be able to hide in the middle and pretend to be tired. No wonder all the newcomers are going for aero bikes.

Cam Nicholls also confirms the good build of a SEKA. He got someone to ultrasound it.
Apparently based on his video, winspace has better carbon layup
@@marcustan5868 yes but it is no slouch. It is thin though and not recommended for anyone over 100kg.
Great color and finish.
Finally a dual mic setup! Makes the video so much more enjoyable!
Curved tip of the saddle is for aero/aggressive position. It lessens the pressure on the private parts. It mimics a downwards tilted saddle.
Seriously considering this frame. Looks like a beauty!
Nice bike, it is on my wishlist. I have the SEKA AFIELD, runs since 10k flawless.
Jack speaks eloquently and articulately 👍🏻

the curve saddle is commonly used in MTB. on and off seat while paddling is easier. some riders sit on the curved tip when climbing difficult terrain.
Thank you for the new information!

may i know what is the widest tyres this frame can accomodate?
15k is not cheap...it's almost the same price as the top end of Canyon Aeroad CFR.
great video, thanks for that!
Seat post dropped issues ?

No, they are two separate renown brands in China and are now making waves worldwide.
