Another great video Rony, I love your vids! Have you tried riding the new 2024 version of the Factor Ostrom VAM? I'm wondering if it's that much better or if it's good enough to look for a deal on the this previous version. I'm just an average lightweight recreational rider on a 2021 TCR Advanced Pro which is more climbing focused with some aero features (I think leans more to climbing) but I'd like to go faster without sacrificing too much climbing performance. Keep up the great vids!
I’m strongly considering this crankset, I’m already getting creaking on my Ostro from the oem shimano setup. I’m very curious on what you did to prevent creaking. Would you recommend going with the 24mm rotor setup or 30? Will some premium grease do the trick or will I need to use some sort of loctite to prevent creaking. Thank you!
@@ronykuba ah okay thank you. i ask because i vaguely remember you making a spacer for your enve stem on your madone to make the contours fit. i was looking into custom spacer designs for my own bike and it's tough figuring out how the designs work. also, thank you for putting me onto the line-s!! I am so comfy now on the bike it's crazy.
I've had 2 sets of those cranks fail on my Ostro. I have a spare aluminum Aldhu crankset as well, but I haven't had to use it because Rotor keeps replacing the Aldhu Carbon ones every time I break them.
@@mikicastan Probably a pretty focused climbing setup that is a lot slower everywhere else. Mine is pretty stock at 7.25 kg but undoubtedly slower with shallower wheels and standard wider cockpit.
I wouldnt say that is much slower, you can take a look his channel(cyclespeed tours). Maybe marginaly, but with modern high profile wheels it should weight maybe 0,5 kg more, which is still very light. Light bikes are more fun to ride everywhere, not just on climbs

That’s a complex topic, I would suggest booking a consultation on my website
Hi Ronald. you mentioned that you used grip tape for stopping the seatpost to go down. What is that tape exactly? Could you give a link? Thanks!
Hi. Skateboard grip tape.
Curious what is causing that creaking sound when the handlebar is moved.
The tire in the bike stand
Why did you decide to use a 28mm tire instead of a 25mm, is it because of the bad roads?
28mm is a better all-rounder
hey ronald, how did u get the custom spacer to fit the cockpit to the frame? any websites or something like that, or you made it yourself?
It was made by Speeco

I just don´t have patience for that. Aluminium it is...
I sold my Factor Ostro VAM & regret selling it. Pinarello Dogma F is very stiff.,.. Ostro VAM is comfortable & lighter.
I cannot say I am surprised >)
I saw Hambini's review of the new Campy wireless system, but there are not many details since it hasn't been released yet. But I am a huge Campy fan.
How can he review something that doesn’t exist yet?
