Love that rod and reel setup and a great lure/teaser pairing. My only thought is you are likely to lose fish, especially the bigger they get, by pumping the rod and reeling down like striper or sport fishing. Haddock have a soft mouth and that's a good way to rip the hook out. Just a thought. Cheers!
I use the same setup frequently and absolutely crush! Rods are the perfect match for the tackle/jigs! It is also really nice to not have to deal with bait. Just load up the boat and go!
Used the same exact setup a couple weeks ago, absolutely crushed. Rods are the perfect fit for the tackle/jigs! No messy bait needed is a huge plus too.
Great captain and great gear, best of the best all around
Thank you!
We fished Jeffreys ledge back in the 1970's and 1980's. We went out to Jeffrey's ledge on the Winner III out of Rockport, Cape Ann!
Awesome!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the gear!
Those jigs and the jig biki in general have been killing it for me all season. Seabass, scup, fluke, tautog. Everything go's for it.
Glad to hear!
Sure sign of spring. Now let’s see some bass! Good stuff guys
Thank you!

Great video! First time watching jig fishing for haddock. Bucket list. Hogy has it covered top to bottom!
Thank you!
Awesome video, Rob and Cape Cod Offshore are one of the best around! Just ordered Hogy jig and rigs for our groundfishing.

Do you ever get any 10 pounders these days?
The average size is aroud 5-6lbs.
@@HogyLures good luck this season and stay safe.
What the heck has happened to the Haddock fishery ... those are all micro-haddock :(
Nice video production, just wish the fishery was in better shape.
Some years are definitely better than others!
