@@brynja9973 high speed reels gets them up quick and we minimize the time out of the water so they actually don't have a problem getting down. We occasionally have to vent a Cusk or big Cod but the Haddock and Pollock don't really suffer from baro trauma. We also will move after 2 or 3 drops if we aren't pulling up keepers.

This is awesome, dude! Love me a trip to Jeffrey's!
That's awesome.
DO YOU DO FISHING CHARTERS??
Unfortunately I do not
THANKS FOR THE COME BACK!! WE ARE A NEW SUBSCRIBER!!
Just getting into fishing for haddock this season…what type of lures do you recommend?
i fish with cut surf clams for haddock but the Nomad Design Gypsea 120 Saltwater Jig 4.2oz in the Sardine or Pink work good as well.
Filet and release even.
what model reel is that
Penn 30 torque. About 10 years old
What you guys using for bait? Squid?
Can you use mackerel chunk?
we use surf clams cut into small strips. Mackerel chucks get picked off and squid for some reason does not work as good for haddock.
Bait?
Surf clam tongue cut into 3inch strips
What rod are you using
6ft Shimano trevala jigging rod with a penn international torque 200 X with 50lb braid
Thank you you happen to remember what power medium heavy heavy etc looking to pair this rod with the Shimano torium for next season and liked the action of the rod you were using in the video thanks again
That one clip with no shirt
Gotta show a little skin to keep the people interested bud
Overkill on setting the hook
180 to 250 feet of water with a 16 sinker. Just making sure
Straight up and down 16 oz with braid, double overkill plus every short dead, seagull food
