I miss you so very much. Your voice, that music was an ara of true fun true dance music. There will never be another Donna ....Thank God you left us with a library of the greatest music by a women's voice that is untouchable. You are and always will be the yardstick that all other female singers will me measured against......And believe me the list of souful talent siingers is short. I want you in the HALL OF fAME because you deserve it!!!! RIP my Angel

Donna Summer is much more than the "Disco Diva". Yes she was "Queen of Disco" at first, but became so much more than that!
When PWL / SAW got her in the late 80's - 90's her music went more cowbell Euro Pop/Dance music.
Donna's ballads are beautiful.
State of Independence was more Reggae.
Donna Summer was/is a Diva of the World :-)
Yes She will be missed Carlos, but we have her Never ending vocals to keep us going. I've even kind of learned to appreciate the music More of our lost talents. I seem to listen to their awesome music more and appreciate their memory in a different way now and it helps me Tremendously!!!

san diego had an incredible ( non-stop disco) fm station back in the day. when you're 12 y.o., living in '77 so. cal., that was it. thank god my dad had good sound systems 'round the house.
One of my FAVOURITE Donna tracks ... I still play the original 12" but I've ALWAYS been frustrated that the very ACID bit comes at the end. Thank you for making me aware of this mix which uses my favourite bit earlier and to Great effect. I actually own a lot of Razormaid and Disconet vinyl but never got this. Oh WOW ! love the way it turns at 6 minutes ... Giorgio ala Munich Machine or 'From Here to Eternity' .. Again ... THANK YOU :-)

Thanks for the nice comment :-) The Razormaid mix did come out on blue vinyl. All Razormaids are colored vinyl, except 1 Razormaid did years ago. The only issue, I'm sure that was released on Black Vinyl :-)

BTW, Donna Summer just passed on and flipped me right out. Yet another Diva who isn't with us in body. I just found out today. Goodness, but as long as we remember, Donna will always be with us Heart and Soul :-(

I have this on the original clear blue 12" vinyl....
I'll see and yes I do have some older Donna singing accapella, but it might take me some time to find this. I'm also going away in April for a while and will not be close to Any PCs or Laptops. That is what I'm going away for. To take a rest from IT '\(o_o)/' Anyhow, when I get back we could look further into it and I'll surely visit your channel. Thanks for your great comment on this song & our Lovely Donna Summer♪ She'll live on in our ♥s & souls for sure :-)
