I personally love this fragrance! I wear it a lot when I just want something clean and easy to wear, I like wearing it to the office too. I would love to see more 'masculine' rose scents! Thanks for the review Aaron!
The thing I love about watching your reviews is that no matter how you feel about a fragrance, you always seem to be able to separate your personal feelings from how you think a fragrance should be graded overall. In other words, even if it’s not your style, you can still see the beauty or you can respect the work that goes into making the fragrance. Great review. Holla.

MFK is my fav niche housse. Every fragrance is just so refined. Each one is a an easy reach without being simple. Luxurious and classy and as you have just said..very long lasting ❤

Loved this review for sure. I struggle with ADHD, and while it's not the same as Dyslexia, it is a "neuro adaptation." I am still learning how to use its advantageous/creative/energetic parts. Thank you for discussing it and congrats on 85K!!!!!! Cheers head unicorn leader :)

I did not enjoy this one at first but it has really grown on me❤
I think this is one of the underrated scents from his line. I smelled this at the department store along with the feminine rose and it dawned on me that they go great together. I imagine a couple wearing this, perhaps on a wedding day. They would smell glorious together.
It is clean and I do see the plasticy vibe because it’s kinda a fresh sharp crisp aromatic floral, I think that’s his way of making it masculine whereas the feminine rose has the same rose but it’s more of that traditional floral rose makeup. Neither are an old school rose fragrance though, both very modern.
I do agree that it’s not for me unless I wanted to pair it with a lady
Spring time outdoor wedding they would go great.
I think this is best men's rose fragrance.

As I suspected, one of the first listed allergens is Hydroxycitronellal (Lily-of-the-Valley) followed by Geraniol (Geranium/Rose), a fresh green white rosy floral accord, like the flag of Italy 🇮🇹🤌

You should do a review of multiple fragrances from back in the day like blue stratos, Old spice, hai karate, polo sport, aramis, denim etc maybe 1-2 minutes for each one. Give the nostrils a right hammering

This is my favorite fragrance for the warmer weather, definitely in my top 5 overall. I just wish the price was a bit lower so I can make it my signature fragrance (currently ADG Profumo is my warm weather signature).
Each review has it's own pace but with your signature, when you were talking about making a Rose accord and said: "I hope you're writing this down" I smiled cause I was actually writing it down 😅.
Again, amazing review, gives you a sophisticated view on the perfume, really picks apart the scent and let's you see it's "inner" workings.

Have a sample bottle of this, I do really like the idea behind to represent a rose, not just a flower, but with stem and leaves. There is something off putting in it while on my skin, like in "Masculin pluriel", it kind of gives me furniture polish vibe

Speaking of florals. Could you please review Guerlain Habit Rouge EDT/EDP. It's supposedly the first Oriental fragrance for men. I only recently got it and I am enamoured ❤️❤️❤️

Id love that to. We took off Canada, Australia and New Zealand as the feedback was horrid. People didn't want to pay the shipping which was about £100. Dangerous goods is crazy expensive. I got so fed up with explaining about shipping I withdrew it completely

I just received some samples from this house. Petit Matin is absolutely gorgeous, it has hawthorn and I have always wanted a hawthorn perfume. Unfortuntately I can't smell the Baccarat Rouge perfume or extrait and I have no idea why. I would be interested in smelling more of his house. He is the nose behind a lot of designer scents. Love your reviews.
BR540 has a known issue of people being ansoimuic to it, although those around you can smell it, sometimes strongly. I myself am fairly ansomic to BR540...all I get is a slight sweet airy scent that comes and goes for several hours, but I have to get my nose close to pick it up most of the time. I guess it's the aromachemicals he uses in that one.
I couldn’t smell BR after an hour which was fine as it made me feel sick! 🤢
As per usual, an enlightening review.
Kurkdjian used to be all about creamy slightly-animalic musks underneath clean accords. Orange blossom and ambery musk (APOM), rose, artemisia, and musk (Lumiere Noire), orange, amber, cumin, musk (Pour le Soir). Then LVMH came along and said "only clean freshies with high adoption rates", and most MFKs are all about ambroxan and white flowers. Everything I mentioned above is gone.
That said, Masculin Pluriel, Amyris Homme, and Grand Soir are solid, as is Gentle Fluidity Gold, and I do like Petit Matin even if it is more of the "ambrox and white flowers" shtick the brand is stuck on.
Grand Soir is my only MFK purchase. His fragrances just haven't resonated with me to date. Perhaps I need to order a few samples to be better informed or swayed e.g. Gentle Fluidity Silver.
Wish I could get a sample of this to see how it works on my skin before purchasing
They sell four 2 ml samples for $16 on the MFK website.
Aqua Celestia forte and Aqua universalis Forte are my favourites from the house personally. Never got on with Ala Rose. There's something in it that didn't work off my skin. But appreciate the quality
I had a very rough experience with this scent in below freezing temperatures. It erupted to headache inducing strength, the kind where you're not sure if you're tasting or smelling. Hoping I can eventually enjoy it again
I agree 100%. I think many of his scents are Spring/Summer creations. I have that problem too. I think even his Grand Soir and Satin Mood go hype mode below freezing. I'm just glad there is someone like me out there! Cheers!😁
I have never heard Aluminum pronounced that way before lol. Sounded very fancy
MFK declined with the purchase to LVMH. The fragrances known for being deep and more daring were dropped by the conglomerate.
The "Cologne Forte" line-up offered very little and was not received well. With Kurkdjian becoming the in-house perfumer for Dior I predict very little substance from MFK moving forward.

Please do Not the eau extreme, just the
regular allure homme sport. That stuff is amazing, my favourite fragrance off all time. It has way more of a zing to it than eau extreme, with the orange, sea notes and aldehydes, but still some sweetness from tonka and vanilla. Prefect for spring and summer.

I received today my order with Raw Cherry and a discovery kit that i bought online in La Schiller as your team recommended (btw their service was very efficient and fast delivery) since i live in China but my family lives in Spain. For all the women out there curious about ATH female leaning fragrances here is my sister’s top 5 ranking: 1- Oxytocin 2- Gardenia Blanc 3- Forbidden 4- Raw Cherry 5- Jasmine narcotique . I would love to order Boss bitch next since it was not included in the discovery kit and get a few full bottles. Since I live in Shanghai, I will have to wait for covid to go away so i can travel to Spain and can try your fragrances myself, but so far i trust my sisters choices haha Thanks so much for sharing your work with the world. I wish you could have tried the original Egoiste, Geo F Trumper’s Sandalwood cologne comes very close but without the lovely rose.

I don’t know, why this one gets so much hate, for me it is quite enjoyable - but I have to admit I never smelled Lumiere Noir, which people say was way better.

Im personally looking for Rose Fragrance for the longest (I dont buy into the for men/ for women). If anyone have recommendations, doesn’t have to be pure rose but definitely want something that screams ROSE!

Bought it.
Smells identical to a freshly cut rose 🌹 in a floral store - peddles, green stem sitting in a vase of water.
Brilliant perfumery, and I haven’t reached or worn it once having owned it for 2 years.
It’s more for a gay man, or to be layered with another fragrance, i use leather.
I know you have done Layton exclusif but I think you should also review the normal Layton?

MFKs creations are quite borderline for me 🙊 some are too medicinal, soapy, stuffy or ambrox heavy, which create strong aftershave vibes like this one. All I get here is light rosewater aftershave 🙈

There is a problem mfk scents. Samples and bottles smells different. I have sample and bottle of l'homme a la rose and i didnt like bottle version.5 ml sample smells greeny and rose but bottle version is more fruity and also both of them batch code are same. My sister had same problem mfk feminen pluriel, sample smells more floral bottle version is more fruity.

MFK’s rose accord is beautiful, not realistic, yet stunning. His perfumes smell clean and while I like many of them I do not like this one.

I hate, hate, hate this perfume. There’s nothing masculine about this fragrance at all on my skin. It was very disappointing release for me. Quite honestly there’s not a lot of their offerings that I like… Out of this house, the only two perfumes that I enjoy are Absolue pour le Soir and Oud Velvet Mood (sadly both discontinued - perhaps they had too much character). Their perfumes are quite overhyped IMO
And I find it smelling quite synthetic
