Thanks for showing the raw materials on camera! You’ve talked about them for such a long time, I was getting curious. Interesting.👌🏻 Thank you for the interesting/informative content!
love that we can see the raw materials in their purest form, i always wondered what vanilla absolute looks like, since alot of my favourite fragrances have it in the formulas
If you're really into perfumery, you have to start at 1:36. Hands down the best information I have heard in a fragrance review 📹 video. Truly incredible lesson! 😲
I received my order of some of your latest offerings today Aaron, I must say they are all absolutely phenomenal. ATH fragrances have always been brilliant but I can feel another level of quality with these releases, they’re a testament to how you are continuing to grow in your craft and refine your creations. You should be extremely proud of yourself, keep the amazing work coming. I can’t wait for what’s in store for 2025🙌🏻
Hey Aaron, I never comment on videos and I’ve watched you for years! I pray you see this but i literally just bought this fragrance extrait and even got my bottle engraved with my name on it at Neiman Marcus! All in all i been watching videos on it and i kept thinking mannn… I need Aaron to do a video review of it(specifically on the extrait not the eau de Parfum)! You’ve now blessed me and im grateful!!!!!
@blackgut101 my favorite fragrance of ALL time, the lotion is also amazing! The bottle must be so nice with your name engraved, wish our stores offered that sometime! Enjoy your beautiful fragrance! 🙌🏽
Great review! Would be great to hear your take on Absolue Pour le Soir when it is re-released as a Selfridges exclusive next week - I think that one would be up your street!
I really love your reviews about fragrances. This particular fragrance, Oud Satin Mood, is just a bit too expensive for me. I own the fragrance, and it smells good.
I honestly would love it if you were able to do a video of you at your work, doing your thing. I love your work and your fragrances. I love these videos as well and I think it would be so wonderful to see you in your environment.😊❤️
This price of this fragrance makes me think in my mind ("Special Occasion") Only. I own 24 fragrances. I try to wear them all the time without hesitation, regardless of season. It smells good to me, not great. I would wear Red Tobacco, More than words over this fragrance. Thanks for your reviews.
Czech & Speake number 88. I love this rose forward fragrance. Anyone else familiar? It’s an oldie. I’ve seen a review that someone did that said it made them want to vomit. lol. Does anyone have a recommendation for a black licorice/anise fragrance? Again, for some reason I love scents that are despised by some. ✌️
The extrait version is so, so strong! Its up there with the pre formulation version of amouage interlude man on projection and longevity. A genuine room filler!
Aaron is awesome at describing oud raw material. Best ive ever seen do it and thats thanks to his realism. Oud also has a very complex woodiness as it dries way down owing to the fungus thats destroying it. Also if undergoing whats called "ablution" in muslim culture, then it also showing its complex facets on skin. To try something similar you can wipe oud on skin then go jump in the shower and rinse with water then smell the skin, get out of the shower and get dressed and clean and the oud will radiate in a more aromatic way. Its awesome to smell and can be addicting but its not for everyone and is incredibly hard to work with and is life altering-ly expensive, sadly. Its very damp smelling too and damp feeling on skin and clothes. Its so darn dense of a wood raw material.
Orto parisi - terroni. For some reason find it similar to black afgano without the hashish note, but this one is project way more. Beast mode.👌 beautiful scent
Hey Arron love your content, as an apprentice/self taught perfumer your descriptions are been very help to me in understanding raw materials. I'm looking to start experimenting with oud's if you could maybe recommend some trustworthy suppliers I would be extremely grateful. ✌️
I got a sample of BDU from Aaron with my Addicted purchase. It smells a lot like Oud Satin Mood to me. But smoother to my nose than OSM. And very Turkish Delight-ish. It's impossibly strong! I mean, just a tiny amount lasts and projects for ages. Really quite brutal.
This is one of my favorite fragrances. I know you hated it in one of your very, very old videos, so it's nice to see how your own tastes have changed a bit. I definitely prefer the extrait myself, but both are lovely.
Hey Aaron, Im a huge fan of your work and reviews. I would really love for you to review Blonde Amber by Clive Christian or any of the fragrances from the ARGOS line. Much Love
I took a big risk and blind bought a 200ml bottle of this... absolutely worth it!!!! An absolutely incredible fragrance that smells amazing! The rose and violet and iris and oud... f*cking incredible!
Hello dear! I just found out that your art is available on Woodberg, but everything is unfortunately out of stock - just 2 days after it started selling. When can we expect a restock? Thanks in advance!
Could you tilt just a little bit that youtube plate? I can see the reflection of you moving in it and it kind of moves my focus away from your energy to the movement in the background. Amazing video as usual, plus it has new dimension with the raw material presentation. Keep it up..
I’m trying a decant currently and the issue for me is it smell so close to incense sticks at the temple ( the cheap ones ) I really want to love it but can’t shake this memory off of me
I bought the dupe, Oud Satin Mood by.. Lattafa? Anyways, one spray blew me out the door. Strongest frag I’ve ever encountered. I love Oud but don’t care for the rose pairing. Cheers! Love you!
This is an incredible and elegantly beautiful fragrance and line. Thanks Aaron 😊 Love your reviews. What do you think of his new water based Sauvage Eau Forte release for Dior?
Dear Aaron You must review the wonderful Elie Saab no 1 rose. I think you will like it and down below you can see my review of it. Elie Saab no 1 rose by Francis Kurkdjian is a beautiful scent and the last bottle in my collection. It is so wonderful crafted and develops so masterfully. Top notes:Dark rose, vanilla, butterscotch and benzoin. Middle notes:Iris(gives this fragrance a powdery note)Vetiver(that gives that green note) Basnotes:Amber, sandalwood and Rose. The rose is never overpowering but it is in the background and behind every note that comes through.
this is too feminine for me but it does smell really nice on my gf (when she uses it lightly, otherwise it can be a bit obnoxious/beastly). Keep up the good work, Aaron 👍
Hi all--Im learning/studying fragrances. When it comes to oud, Im assuming ingredients like rose and vanilla "cancel out" the fecal aspect, correct? Please help me understand why oud is so popular when one facet of it seemingly smells like shit--literally.
Hi, Aaron! Can you compare Afnan 9pm to the original Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male? I want to hear your thoughts on how really good a clone is. Thanks ! 🦄
Dear Aaron, its such a pleasure to watch your videos and the way you put on your knowledge. Is there a way to get your fragrances in South America?? Actually, Im from Argentina. If thats possible, I would appreciate your response. Cheers, grand master!! 👊🏻🥂
Thanks for showing the raw materials on camera! You’ve talked about them for such a long time, I was getting curious. Interesting.👌🏻
Thank you for the interesting/informative content!
Ethyl Maltol smashed you in the face is the greatest plot twist ever. I was saying “whipping through the base” and then my jaw dropped 🤣
i wonder if that was an ode to jeremy because he used to say SMASH YOUR FACE a lot.
I came here to say this! It isn't whipping thriugh the base anymore! 😅
Not in this formula. It's heavy and strong
He had me at smashes you in the face. 😌
LOVING THE NEW BACKGROUND AARON! the new production is getting insanely better.
Oud Satin Mood is one of the most moving fragrances I have ever had the pleasure to smell.
For anyone watching, this review is for the Extrait version.
@@jordanmessner999 you can read eau de parfum on the bottle

The Oud, Rose and Vanilla raw materials information was facinating Aaron, any chance of reviewing Chanel Coromandel sometime? Many thanks!

Happy birthday

Wonderful review Aaron!
Please do MASCULIN PLURIEL next which is also from MFK!
I giggled when you said "classy." Thanks for that. :)
So interesting to see these raw materials and to get some insight in what it takes to create something with them. Thanks!

i love how you show the actual ingredients when most of us normal consumers wouldn't be able to see these things ever
I wonder how this compares to Silk Mood.
I really enjoy your channel and your fragrance collection in the background is giving serotonin 😍
Nothing like silk mood. This is unbelievably sweet. Silk mood is dry and woody with no sweetness

Thanks a lot for sharing these raw materials and explaining it
I agree with Aaron 100% on this one. I’ve tried wearing this several times and it simply did not knock my socks off. I thought it was average at best.

I adore you so much Aaron, hope we can buy your perfumes soon in Germany ❤❤❤
I would love to see you reviewing Parfums de Marley Greenley or Moonlight in Heaven by Kilian. Great review for this one as well!
Love OSM and OSM extrait. I think I find the extrait just a hair more masculine.
Great review, hope you do his Grand Soir soon, same with Fragrance Du Boi's Sirene
The Extrait is absolutely nuclear
Actually edp spreads so much more with sillage. Extrait closer to the skin
He didn't say nuclear projection
Love the Extrait. I’ve found that Barakkat Satin Oud by Fragrance World is spot on for the Extrait, and only costs $20!

This fragrance is strong in such a unique way. It is not offensive, it is just lingering. It last on a shirt for weeks.
