When Animenz plays this it looks so easy and simple but reading your description and looking more at your hands rather than just listening to the music makes me realize, how hard playing the piano can be and how much flexibility your hands must have. This is amazing!

My Dearest... The first time that I have seen this op ; in my head, it was like "it's perfect". So I watched the anime and it's became my favorite anime. I loved the story and the OST of this anime. Now, this is no longer my favorite anime but the op is still my favorite. So thank you very much for playing the most "challenging" version of My Dearest. Of course, it's impossible to perfect this song but it's better than the first time you learned it ;) (PS : Inori will stay in my heart)
The Anime was pretty shitty imho. The characters were cardboard cutouts, the plot was full of holes and clichees and there was a lot of deus ex machina writing involved. The music is great, though.

So while he may imply that he believes his other works are not as good as this one, it isn't done as a way to say that his other works are bad, but a way to say that he believes that this work is exceptional in comparison. Also complimenting more recent works of an artist is a compliment in another way as it is a way to say that they are improving.

Animenz's arrangement of My Dearest is (in this fan's opinion) one of the most legendary renditions of anime music (and japanese music in general) in this era of modern culture. Period.
I prefer this in slower tempo, but thumbs up for learning it to play so fast. Also nice job with the glissando which you started with left hand and finished with right :D Lookin good
