Its a very fresh new sound. I've had the pleasure of seeing the newsboys several times, both with Peter fuler and Phil joel, and after Phil Joel left. I would have to say that the change was needed. The newsboys will always be an incredible band, but they needed a fresh outlook. and Micheal tait is a very talented and inspirational person... In short. Perfect fit for continueing the band!! Best of luck to the boys. and God Bless!!

I love this song, it really opens up my heart to the presence of Jesus Christ in everyday life and through all the turmoil. It gives me a sense of peace when things are not going right.I love that this group prays before going on stage and the power of the Holy Spirt shows. Great group, highly overlooked. Will be seeing them again and again. Just a great group and a great new lead singer.

I always enjoyed & appreciated what Michael Tait brought to DC Talk, so I'm not "hating" on him. However, I feel Michael pales in comparison to Peter Furler in terms of artistry and sheer vocal talent. I understand a decision was made that it was time for a change & that at the end of the day what's most important is the ministry that the band's music represents, but in listening to Michael sing "I'll Be" one of the first thoughts that I had was that his voice sounded bland. Almost generic.
