This song is great (musically), especially for Christian music! Loved DC Talk growing up, and liked TobyMac more as a kid but now I'm rediscovering how great Tait's music is too. The new Newsboys is good too. Love "God's Not Dead!"
Michael Tait's voice has seen me through voice loss and its sequalae (major depression). I've overcome both issues and will always rejoice in his voice.
Like a raging sea, fear wants to swallow me. This is so descriptive of what I've been going through. I have only found peace in God ❤ a peace that is sort of like a boat right now. The raging sea isn't trying to swallow me any more, but I'm on a journey out, on a sturdy vessel.
I love this group how they pray before each concert. I also love that Micheal Tait's father was a minister who preached love. They are spreading the good news for sure. Yay for them in a world where music is spreading such negative messages these guys are sending out the good news with a great !!!!! Rock edge, to draw in people who love rock.
Keep rocking Micheal it sounds great. It brought me to Christian music. I don't know if I would have come "without that rock edge sound." I am greatful for this sound and love it. Great voice, and want to here much more of it.

Well I just came back from the Newsboy concert with Tait and I must say, miss Peter, but Michael absolutely rocked the house in Orlando! Apparently, Peter was stepping down and DC Talk and Newsboys had a history together, so Tait was a front runner for the replacement...
its because Dc talk was one of the 1st bands to make upbeat songs for christian music. Its mostly just people who are more into contemparary christian music that would call them satanic but the are 100% christian.
