- The North Carolina Tar Heels spoiled Coach K’s final game at Cameron Indoor, defeating the Duke Blue Devils, 94-81. UNC’s starters barely left the court in the win, and four of them scored over 20 points. Armando Bacot scored 23 and grabbed 7 rebounds, Caleb Love scored 22 and had 5 rebounds and 5 assists, R.J. Davis scored 21 with 4 rebounds and 5 assists and Brady Manek scored 20 with 11 rebounds. Duke was led by Paolo Banchero who scored 23 points and had 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Mark Williams had a 16 point | 13 rebound double-double for the Blue Devils.
That loss will never be erased from Duke history. We ruined their party.

Biggest WIN in North Carolina history vs. duke!!!! To beat them on their home court on coach K's last home game was HUGE!!!!

Respect Coach K but Carolina and Carolina fans couldn’t send him off a better way.
I have watched Carolina basketball since I was 10 years old and Michael Jordan made the winning shot in the 82 National Title game. I've heard the legend of 8 points in 17 seconds and I've watched the video. I was fortunate enough to be able to go in person to Alexander Mermoial to watch Psycho T put up almost 30 points against Georgia Tech when I lived in Atlanta. And of course I watched Ty Lawson, Hanbrough and company dismantle Duke on senior night in Cameron Indoor the year that team (the most dominant team I've ever seen from UNC) won another National Title.
I really like what I’ve seen lately from this Heels team. Props to Hubert for ignoring all the negativity and pushing on. Hopefully he can recruit at a high level, because if so the Heels will be back competing for titles.
As a UNC fan, cool to see all the Duke alum in the house, but even cooler to see their pout pout faces at the end!!

I'm sorry but saying the Duke players were "distracted" by the magnitude of this game isn't fair to Carolina. Plus you can always look at it the other way, Carolina playing at their biggest rival's home court on their legendary coach's last home game on senior night after having been blown out by 20 AND in front of all those ex players and celebrities. Everyone expected a loss. Talk about pressure. Hats off to this Carolina team.
The Coach K cam is so annoying, makes the game way harder to see and follow. ESPN and Duke got what they deserved tonight.
Duke fans walked away with all the souvenir hoopla and nostalgia of Coach K's career. North Carolina received the souvenir memory of soundly defeating their arch rival on the most sentimental day of their school's history.
Today is September 28th and this is still a thing of beauty.
This was fantastic,this gave me so much joy.I didn't think my Heels would beat Coach K on his home court.Thank you Coach Davis for having the team ready.
I've been waiting all damn year for this bunch to show me heart . Tonight they did open heart surgery on those Dookies! Great games by all five starters . Bacot is a beast and a deserving Player of the Year in the ACC . When our backcourt plays well this team is right there with whomever . Let's go Heels ! The best rivalry in all sports !!!!
