You might as well do the whole Harley Benton line of basses. Email them maybe they'll send you some to test out since your channel is growing.
That's what most probably Thomann asked him to do and he is doing it little by little.
I got one of these.i use it as main main bass. Got rid of some fenders actually, because this is awesome.a bit of adjustments and later on modding would make this really reliable.
Great video man!
Sounds pretty decent - I like the old Precision look, similar to Sting's 53' P-Bass :) Have fun with the new bass! Cheers bass Bro!
Great vid man! Love all these HBs!
I’ve got the sunburst version of this bass - I absolutely love it. It really suits the classic rock sound I play.
Did you experience the initial fret-issue with the neck getting shrinked? A file is good have xD
@@teleespantoso - Very slight fret sprout. Smoothed out pretty easily. 👍
@@revlewisrees9880 great man! Did you tweak it? A Seymour Duncan QP would make this even better. I'm gonna switch the bridge to.
Already made a cool pick guard look by applying vinyl tape. Got palm trees and a flamingo now lol.
You do a lot of rock n roll on this one?
@@teleespantoso - I’ve left everything stock - for now - I might change out the hardware for gold, add an ashtray bridge cover, and a gold or orange sparkle pickguard. I’m going to leave the Roswell pickup in though, as it’s got such a good tone. I find the bass good for the stuff I play, which ranges from 1960s to 2000s. If I played heavy metal I’d probably use something different.
@@revlewisrees9880 very cool! I think you should go with the gold anodized pickguard - looks awesome on sunburst!
It's a great natural sounding bass with a lot of heart. No super high ends for fingertapping and what kids now do lol.
But it brings a warm, woody bottom to any song.
I just love it.
People ask me: "why you doing this original and rooty routine?" I answer: it's the best, and will play any song of this earth.
I really enjoy your work bully! Getting a kick out of the Harley Benton demos. Thanks 😊.
Just ordered mine going to do all black hardware on it and a black pickguard! Thanks for talking me into buying one
That bass doesn’t only look old school it’s sounds it and for that price it’s steal this the first review I’ve watched and I’m already sold on it ,
Man I have to get that bass!!!! I love the tone of the pickup. It sounds almost like a 53 p bass.
A lefty version is what I’m looking for.
I buy the same, but sunburst (which says poplar body instead of basswood) - its really amazing - definitely the best sounding 100 euro bass, but it sounds really better than Mexican Fender! Just out of the box! in real rock mix!
Ordered a l/h one from thomann this morning.
Not my thing but the di box looks interesting. Good job young man! I dig the way the channel is developing.
Reminiscent of a 1955 electric p bass with the conture cut in the upper part of the body, the 1951 fender p basses up to that point, were slab cut bodies,no conture.
Great review, thanks for the upload😎👍
Your videos make me wanna practice more. Live your grooves man!
I've never seen a pickup configuration like that, looks weird but cool at the same time
Thats the original P-bass design.
Sting used this type of bass
Great unboxing and it sounds great straight out of the box
I might have to get this one. HB should be endorsing you, considering that this is the second bass from them that I like, because of your reviews.
I ordered this bass a couple weeks ago and like the fat tone and will be putting flats on today so that ought to really get that classic early electric bass sound. It’s gonna get a bridge and pickup cover too in the next few days.
Unlike your’s, I’m going to need to buy a fret file. All the frets need a bit of love. That’s not such a bad thing to learn some maintenance stuff on a bargain bass.
You are very cool player. I like you.
i agree
Lovely video man!
Awesome channel! So glad I found it... Blessings and regards from the UK
Very timely video thank you. Was thinking about buying one for me! I was thinking about the sunburst but now I'm wondering about the red one!
Fine playing and like that sound.
Great vintage sound.
I’m contemplating whether to get this or not. I love the Motown sound and this is the bass for it. I’m also looking at the Harley Benton 60-WB. Maybe you can do a demo on that semi-hollow bass from HB. Cool beans bro🤙between you and lobster, you both demo the guitars really well . Don’t tell lobster but I like you better😂except that silver and black thingy, Go Chargers⚡️
Very inspiring review! Keep it up.
I've got a Big Muff deluxe. It's a baaaaad maddafakka!
Awesome video, man. Subscribed!
I like your review. Good guitar
awesome review..u play real good.i like it
I'd love to hear one of these with an SD Antiquity pickup in it.
Hi mate. How it feels on hand compared to JB-20? I need a four string one and I am not into or against any. Is quality the same?
Any hum from this single coil pickup;
I have that same bass and mine has very little hum for single coil pickup. How does Your`s behave in that regard?
GAS!! Lol. Great playing and nice sounding bass. So cheap!
Thanks for the video. Any neck dive with the Harley Benton PB-50? I tried the Harley Benton PB-20 and wanted to like it, but there was way too much neck dive, so I sent it back. I don’t want to end up doing the same thing again should I order the Harley Benton PB-50.
Hi bully I was just curious how long it takes to receive the base from tomann thanks I love your channel.
Is the DI actually phantom powered? I read in the reviews on their website that that appears not to be the case…
I'm just wondering what's that green bass behind you, the second/third from the left? Very nice looking green bass. Between, Harley Benton is impressive always
After owning a few of these HBs few a while; how are the tuners? Also do they hold their setup?
Mmmmm growlyyyyy.
That's thomann's house brand, which is how they can offer these prices
Cool - I'd love to hear it with flats on it :-)
Sounds great to me, I would not change anything...
It's an ok guitar. But for my taste the frets are to high, for a vintage type bass.
The trussrod is a bit weak.
Bass player!
That bass sounds nice! I should stop watching these videos. I don’t need another bass!
Can you put a squier 50s bass neck on the Harley BENTON BASS ?
Idk.
@@BullyThaKidd can you put a squier 50s P BASS NECK ON THE HARLEY BENTON 50 BASS?
@@annmartinez550 I don't know
this or the harley benton pb-20?
Hard question
@@BullyThaKidd would make a great video i guess
0.36 Googley goo?!?!? Lol
