Thank you. I use Blender 3D. First create only set of crank for one cylinder. Attach the adequate length of crank shaft on only side of the first crank set. For making long crank shaft you can keep joining sequentially by duplicating the first set as many as you want. After attaching the required number of cranks rotate those individual sets to their respective orientation angle based on the number of cylinders. After finishing all rotation of the crank sets join them all using Ctrl+J function. Only the crank shaft should behave as a single object. Other parts like piston and connecting rod should be independent. For piston movement create an Armature set and copy and parent it individually to all the piston, connecting rod and crank shaft.
