Hello, I'm currently living in Australia and thinking of buying some pokemon cards from a Japanese seller. I want to ask you if you ever bought cards from Japan and if yes, did you pay any customs fees?
I do buy pokemon cards & other items from japan, but only through a proxy site (neokyo)! You do have to pay 10% gst when you ship your items out, but neokyo calculates it & invoices you for that automatically so i'm not sure how it'd work buying directly from a seller in japan :/ i guess if you declare the items' value you might get invoiced for gst, but if the sender lists it as a gift you're good at the cost of insurance - not certain though!
