Unless you had oil seals in the outer swivel hub or axle side to replace you don't need to remove stubs. I split outer shell in half and split the inner cone with gas! If using threaded bar for pulling stubs, weld 2 nut's together so using more threads and won't damage bar. By right you need a tap as broken Roller's wreck the threads in stubs.
Farmer Phil/Father Phil love your videos, a tip for making it easer to remove wheels, coat area inside the rim and the hubs with a thin coat of grease. it will save you a lot of grief down the road.
You will have to get one of those new seats out of the workshop into that tractor Phil. Has Father Phil been to the shops for his classic tractor and tractor and machinery magazine's to keep him entertained in between watching the pump and sleeping hope you have a good season boys with not too many problems
Got to give it to father Phil the makes a not so fun job look handy , his invasion to make tools to suit the job . He has a wealth of knowledge and it is great watching ye work together and how you have grown more comfortable doing different mechanical work . Keep up the great videos.
Your our favourite farmers in the world.Father Phil is a pure genius and interesting man he’s wonderful fantastic sound track on the video.Good luck 🍀 you work so hard getting ready for job I hand .Your all amazing 🤩.😂😂😊😊😊😊😊
Great video… slogging away again in unfavourable conditions and getting the gear ready against the odds without complaint, between the beet harvester and the slurry tractor you’ve put in a Trojan effort… you deserve a bit of luck in the fields with both of them.
That's good thinking on yer part Phil to go with the flowmetre & "Smart" slurry spreading. I'd think it might be very helpful for tillage spreading?? If farmers had slurry composition done it'd be really useful for ye & them to know the impact slurry would have on ground then.
Great video and work. I'm from mid tipperary. A local silage and tillage outfit beside me does all slurry for us. They does all machine work on tractor for last 4 year.
Well Farmer Phil funny i don't know what yr names are outher than bro and Liv. I follow yr videos and enjoy them. Yr dad is a great Man 😅 U r doing a great job and good luck with your plants. Do you sell square bales of straw
Father Phil is some Tool for 1 tool..Father Phil should do a slot every week about "Tips & Tricks" he uses regularly to do a particular job etc. like Finnegans farm does ever Wednesday.Great video as always Phil.❤️
Was I seeing things, but did your young brother walk across the yard in shorts in January? It's a balmy 28 degrees here today, but seeing a man in shorts in Longford in January made me shiver.
Best of luck with the season, hopefully the king pin bearings on the other side holds this season atleast :) Hoping you get time to continue on the 1200 soon!
Hi Phil, great stuff once again. I was thinking some awning off the front of your garage would be a great job for when its pissing 😉 The windscreen repair vans have great one's. Keep the good work up
All the best for the new season, hope ye got out of the yard on time this morning. Did ye ever make that trailer for pulling the slurry pump behind the pickup/lowloader With all the additional electrics on the tractor now (GPS, Flow meter, extra lights, aux switches for the hydraulics, chargers etc.) have you had to upgrade the fuse board, battery and alternator as id say there is a fair draw on the battery power?
great video phil. yous have some maintenance to do in machinery. father phil knows his stuff nothing beats hands on experience. yous would hardly come up to county down😂🤣🤣🤣 only joking😀😃
That wheel that was 'chafered ' in might even have had too much camber on it..😇😉😁😂 seriously though, good on ya for making the videos, it's nice to see the work ye do round the farm..
Hi Phil great channel wait every video. What your opinion on using dribble bar will the slurry come back in the silage? Especially if spread later in year like march or for second cut? Is splash plate a safer bet?
You wont get 30k hours on anything ud buy now to be fair i think we are the point were that tractor you send off and re do her and upgrade what can be upgraded
